Chapter 15

Danny walked into the room to find that everyone had been seated. He went over and sat in between Dani and Sam who also sat next to Tucker. They then all started eating.

Mr. Lancer watched Danny curiously. It made him happy to see him laughing and smiling and acting his own age. Ever since the accident he just been so distant. He barely had any friends and yet here he sat talking with these ghosts laughing...

Dash still couldn't get over the fact that Fento-nail knew all these ghosts?! He wondered if he knew Phantom...

Valerie sat stone still at her seat. She didn't dare eat anything it was probably poisoned. How could Danny hang out with these ghosts?! Didn't he know that ghosts had ruined her life?!

As they ate a question kept nagging at the back of Nathan's mind "Um Mr. Frostbite... sir?"

Frostbite laughed at his formality "Frostbite will do just fine. What is it?"

"Why do you call Danny the 'Great One'? And Miss Dora why do you call him 'Sir' Danny?" he asked.

Frostbite answered first "Well I call him the Great One because he and Sir Phantom fought side by side to defeat Pariah Dark."

"He did what?!" everyone yelled. Danny blushed. "How could Fenturd have helped Phantom?! Phantom is cool Danny's just well... not!" Dash yelled.

All the ghosts looked like they were about to pummel Dash "Guys its fine I'm used to it." Danny stated.

"Well as for the answer to your second question..." Dora started noticing the awkwardness. "I call all the knights in my court 'Sir'. It's just proper."

"Daniel's a knight?!" Mr. Lancer asked astonished.

Ember smirked "He sure is! I haven't ever seen a better Knight then Sparky here."

Danny smiled evilly "Thanks Flame face that means a lot."

She smiled back "Oh no problem watt face."

"Fire breath you have a little something on your chin." Danny said smirking.

"Oh do I volt face? I hadn't noticed." She mused.

"Ya coal head it's right there... of wait... that's just a pimple." He said smiling.

"Hey spark plug wanna know something?" she asked scowling.

"And what's that charcoal mouth?" he asked crossing his arms and putting his feet on the table.

"Danny take your feet off the table." Pandora scolded lightly.

"Sorry Mitéra..." Danny mutter not taking his eyes off Ember as he moved his feet.

Ember was about to say something when the sound of glass breaking made everyone freeze. A wisp of blue escaped Danny's lips but luckily only Sam and Tucker noticed. "Oh a party how cute! Why wasn't I invited?" Skulker flew into the room.

Danny thought for a second "Hmm... must have gotten lost in the mail..." out of his pocket he quickly drew a Fenton light saber. He jumped over the table and lunged at Skulker.

Skulker smirked "I see you have a few more toys of your own although why you don't go g-..." Danny punched him in the face before he could finish.

Skulker growled "Well if that's how you want to play it..." he brought out his own light saber and attacked Danny.

The class watched in awe as Danny expertly side stepped every attack and even got in a few hits of his own. He faked to one side then swiftly jumped off the wall and hit Skulker square in the face. This momentarily stunned him and gave Danny enough time to pull out the Fenton thermos.

He smiled back at Ember and tossed her the thermos "I'll let you have a talk with him later."

She groaned "Thanks a lot!"

Danny looked over at Dani and gasped. He ran over to her and looked at her face. She had a small cut on her cheek from where a piece of glass had fallen from the window. "Dani's hurt... it's my fault I wasn't careful enough... and Dani got hurt..." The ghosts, Sam, and Tucker all knew what was happening.

"Danny it's ok!" Sam yelled at him. "It's just a scratch Dani's fine aren't you Dani?!"

She nodded vigorously "I'm fine see!" she whipped the blood on her sleeve. "No problem!"

"B-But she got hurt... and it was my fault!" he sat down on the ground and held his head. He then started to rock back and forth.

"Danny!" Sam yelled again. "Snap out of it!" he looked up at her and he had tears streaming down his cheek. She sighed and knelt down next to him "You didn't take your medication today did you?"

He sighed "N-no..."

She shook her head sadly "Danny you have to take it every day or else you won't get better."

Pandora walked over to Danny and handed him a blue vile "Danny you need to take It." he nodded and downed it in one gulp. He instantly stopped crying.

"Th-Thanks." He muttered.

"Danny why did you stop taking it?" Pandora asked gently.

He rubbed the back of his neck nervously "I thought I was doing better?"

Ember huffed "Well clearly not or else you wouldn't have almost had a panic attack."

"Panic attack?" Valerie asked.

Everyone looked at each other till Dora spoke "Danny has panic attacks when someone gets hurt. It's a disorder of his. He has medication that helps him deal with it. But that would only work if he ever took it!" she looked at him on that last part and he just laughed nervously.

"Danny doesn't have a panic disorder!" Maddie said firmly.

They all glared at her "Well maybe if you would actually spend time with Danny you would see that he did!" Sam said firmly.

Danny looked at the table nervously then back to Frostbite "Um well it looks like everyone is finished eating so you can start the music now." Frostbite nodded and just like that ball room style music started playing. This got everyone off the subject for a little while.

Danny walked over to Dani and bowed cheekily "My I have this dance?" he said in a very posh voice and held his hand out to her.

She smiled and took his hand. Speaking in the same accent she spoke again "Well don't mind if I do." He laughed and grabbed her hand dragging her off towards the dance floor. They both started dancing goofily not even bothering to go in time with the music. Danny spun Dani a few times fallowed by a dip.

Tucker shrugged and held a hand out to Sam. She shrugged as well and the both started dancing much like the two halfas... very badly. Danny and Tucker both spun their partners and they switched. Danny ended up with Sam and Tucker with Dani.

Danny and Sam blushed as it changed to a slow song. They continued to dance even though Dani and Tucker had abandoned a long time ago. Danny spun Sam and finally the song ended. As soon it was over they both separated and just stood there awkwardly. Dora flew over to Danny and smirked "Looks like those dancing lessons paid off after all."

He groaned "I still don't see why I had to learn to dance to become a knight!"
