The mortal instruments one-shots

April fools day!

Ok sorry I haven't been updating for awhile. I've had a lot of testing going on but I'm done now so I'll be updating more! So without further ado-

Clary's pov-

Izzy and I were in the kitchen when Jace and Alec walked in. Jace offered to make pancakes and we happily obliged. After awhile he set our plates in front of us and we started to eat. We took our first bites and spit them out right away. They tasted like rotten eggs. "Ewww!!! Your normally a great cook. What did you do wrong Jace?" Izzy says while gagging. "APRIL FOOLS!!!" Alec and Jace yell simultaneously. I didn't even remember that it was April fools day. "Ugh we are so getting you back for this!!" I say with a very angry tone.

Izzy and I storm off to her room leaving the boys in the kitchen hysterically laughing. "Izzy what are we going for do to get them back? They are practically impossible to prank!" I say frustrated because it was true. "What if we use their worst fear?" She asks with a smirk. "And that would be?" I respond. "Ducks and spiders!!" She says. "Perfect Izzy!" We jump right into planning.

---------------time break----------------

I sat in Jace's room on his bed waiting for him. Izzy went to go get him telling him I wanted to talk to him. But little did he know that behind my back was a fuzzy little baby duck. He is so going to freak.

The door opened and Jace's walked in cautiously looking around me to check for traps or pranks. "Hey babe. Don't worry Izzy and I didn't set any traps up. I wanted to say that we over reacted this morning and besides we couldn't come up with anything to get you back with." I say with a fake expression of disappointment. "Aw it's ok angel! Not everyone can be as good as me." He says with a smirk as he walks over to me. "Really, I think we're better!" I say.

It that moment I pull my hands from behind my back showing him the little duck. He screams like a little girl and backs away towards the door. "Clary!! Get that thing away!!! It's going to kill us both!!!!" "Aww but Jace look how cute he is! I think you should hold him!" I say holding him closer to Jace.

He opens the door and bolts toward the library where Izzy and Alec are. Izzy has a spider in her hand holding it really close to Alec's face who happens to be backed against a wall. Soon enough I have Jace in the same position. Eventually we decide it's been enough and I say "Ok Magnus get rid of them." Magnus steps out from behind a bookshelf and snaps his fingers and the duck and spider are gone. "APRIL FOOLS!!" Izzy Magnus and I say before breaking out into laughter.

"Magnus you were helping them?!" Alec says. "And also recording." He says while holding up him his phone. "Sorry aley-bear" he continues. Alec just rolls his eyes. "That'll teach you not to mess with us." Iz says and motions towards us with her finger. And she's right because they in for it if they do something like that again.
