Being the best friend of Jace Wayland is not an easy thing, especially since I'm in love with him. When I was twelve, my parents were brutally murdered and I had seen their bloodied bodies. I ran from the house not looking back and went to the New York Institute where I met the Lightwoods and Jace. I quickly became best friends with the golden haired boy, being that we understood each other better than anyone else. But overtime, I also fell in love with him. But five years later, this girl, Clary, came into the picture. And I began losing my best friend to the pretty little red head whose mind was blocked. Jace slowly began replacing me with Clary. I had already lost my parents, and now I going to loose Jace too.

After a quarrel with his mother, Alec decided to cool down and think about what to do next with his life. Not wanting to burden his siblings and the boy with this, he decides to disappear for a few days. What will happen when he meets a new person during those few days? What if this person opens his eyes to a bigger picture? What if Alec will feel something more for them but will keep it a secret but still love Magnus more? What if they stay in touch? What if Magnus discovers their friendship? What if Magnus feels something for them as well? What if Magnus with Alec decide to make her theirs? This book is a tribute to my favorite character ever in a book: Jonathan Morgenstern from The Mortal Instruments Series. Even though he is fiction, I want to write this anyway. Maybe you can read it and share my sadness for him. I have never written anything like this before. It brings tears to my eyes every time I read these quotes.
