Narration:

After many strenuous hours training under the blazing heat of the sun, Jellal and Erza decided to call it a day. They gathered Jellal's clothes, along with a sunburnt Meredy, and finally continued walking towards their true mission once again. There were many previous delays such as: the emotional torment Jellal and Erza went through yesterday morning (young love, am I right?), being chased by the magic council (lazily), ending up at the Fernandes' family lake house (Jellal's best friend was really a fish?), and now spending valuable time working on Jellal's whim (which he still feels terrible about).

So far, being a couple has somewhat slowed down the two powerful wizards. They continued to walk in the right path, but were now a day behind schedule. Hopefully, this little setback won't effect them any further.

Currently, they were pacing through a grassier terrain- much to Jellal and Meredy's liking. Let's see where this takes them, shall we?

Erza's P.O.V

"When's the next town? My skin really hurts," Meldy sulked, poking her reddened cheek, "Ow!" Her whole body jumped as the sting flourished underneath her skin.

"Actually, the next one should be coming up within the hour," I replied, looking over at her with a bit of concern. "And if you want that to heal, you really shouldn't poke at it."

"You're right," Meldy slumped sadly.

I turned to the opposite side of me to see Jellal staring up at the sky above. Following his gaze, I was met by tides of orange and crimson. Yet another beautiful sunset was on it's way. Maybe if we get to where we're staying tonight sooner, Jellal and I will be able to enjoy the setting together. I flushed, realizing the childish qualities of my thoughts.

"You know," He began without removing his eyes from the clouds rolling overhead, "The sky's really beautiful..."

'But not as beautiful as you,' he flirted telepathically.

My cheeks closely resembled Meredy's now. That's Jellal for you. "...Don't you think?" He finished, looking over to smile at the both of us. Flustered, I looked at the ground. I still couldn't wrap my head around the fact that we were... Dating.

I'm Jellal's girlfriend. That sounds so weird to say, even in my own head. But a good weird. A happy weird. I smiled to myself, watching my feet pace in front of me.

"That cloud looks like a bunny!" Meldy announced, pointing at it gleefully, "I think I'll name it Usa. Usa-chan!"

"You're right, it does look like a bunny," Jellal agreed contently. A warm breeze swam through the surrounding trees and hugged our bodies. It was the perfect late afternoon; the type of scenery people write romantic stories in.

We reached the end of the path, which brought us to the only entrance into town. We stood on the top of a high-up, over-hanging, grassy cliff. It wasn't scary, but rather, peaceful. A pole stood firmly 10 meters away from the edge, with a thick silvery wire attached to the top. The wire ran off of the pole, for about a mile until it reached the town hall in the center of the village.

"We have to... Zip-line into town?" Jellal asked, taken back.

"This town likes to have fun; It's mostly made up of dare-devils and tourists looking for a thrill. They offer amazing opportunities to have fun, just look at the place," I said pointing out two high-functioning amusement parks on either ends of the town. The rides were clearly not suited for children, but for people looking for a real thrill.
