I had tried for weeks now. To bring her down. But nothing seemed to work.
That whole cheesy Mia thing? Ugh. Don't make me throw up. I had worked with people like her before. They pretended to be so innocent and sweet, when really, they had done the worst things out of all of us. I knew under that putrid smiling face, was an evil spirit, waiting to emerge. And oh how I wanted that evil spirit to emerge.
Lady Velma seemed to like Mia. In fact, I wasn't head lady number 2 at all. I wasn't able to be. Lady Velma told me as long as Mia was here, I couldn't really be head lady. Even though Mia wasn't even a head lady. But no one, especially that pathetic little girl was going to get in my way.
I nicked one of the medicine packets in the storage room and stashed it in my coat. The only place these meds were going, were inside Mia's bag. If I completely destroyed Mia's image in front of Lady Velma, she might give that head lady spot to me. Seemed like a good plan, it had to work.
I went to the locker rooms and spotted Mia's bag neatly placed on a hook. How stupid. Who would leave their bag outside their locker? Part of me kind of thanked her for doing that because it made it way easier for me to slip those medicine packets in.
I carefully opened the zipper and dropped the packet in. A rush of excitement triggered my rebellious spirit, causing me to smile. And oh how good that smile felt.
________Mia's POV_________
It was my turn to hand out the meds to the patients with Andy, just like every other day. This routine seemed to get a little boring. If I didn't have Andy around, I would have gone insane. All was going well until I saw her. Oh no, but she wasn't by herself. She was with Lady Velma. And Andy following closely behind them.
"I don't know Lady Velma, should you really be trusting Mia with the medicine." Brianna said. She had an evilish grin on her caked face, as if she knew something was going to happen soon.
"Why wouldn't I? You don't have any proof from the accusations you have made Miss Carter." Lady Velma said.
"But I saw her put them in her bag!" Brianna said, acting upset. What was she on about? What bag? My bag?
"Her bag is in the locker room Lady Velma, I swear!" She said.
What was she trying to do? I was very confused, and so was Andy. This girl was out of her mind. Was she actually saying that I had taken some medicine and stashed it in my bag? Because I never did. And I never would have.
"Follow me." Lady Velma said, motioning all of us to follow her to the locker room. Did Lady Velma actually believe that I had taken them?
