Jasper's Imperfection

I believe that Jasper is imperfect. Jaspers are microcrystalline Quartz crystals. Microcrystalline Quartz's definition is-Microcrystalline quartz is made up of such small crystals that they cannot be seen by the naked eye.

I believe that Jasper wasn't a normal Quartz like the other pure Quartzes. Amethyst is a pure Quartz. And Jaspers are Microscrystalline with impurities of other stones.

I believe that Jasper is made from leftover kindergarten gems. In fact, Real Jasper contains up to 20% foreign materials. I believe that Jasper was made when the rebellion was gaining strength so the Diamonds gathered the shattered gems and melted them down, creating gem seeds. They then implanted them and imperfect Quartzes were made.

This would explain why Jasper wanted to capture Rose so badly, to earn more respect from the perfect Quartzes and more respect with Yellow Diamond.

This would explain her hatred of fusion, since being composed of different melted gems, she's technically a fusion as well. Notice I didn't say forced fusion and she's not a full blown fusion. She's just made from leftovers.

So while Amethyst is overcooked, Jasper is a pile of leftovers.
