Part 21- Plan Goes Wrong

It had been a day since Chase left Patagonia. He was now in Bahia getting ready for the Santa Cruza ship to arrive. Allen had gotten the name of the ship that was transporting Sasha and the other girls to Bahia and we was ready to take action.

"I think Emilo and Madeline will be there tonight. We will wait until they place the shipment in their vehicle and we will follow them. Team One- Once they arrive at the destination we will rescue Sasha and arrest Emilio and Madeline. Team Two- you will follow the other vehicles and rescue the other ladies and arrest the drivers. They probably do not know what's going on, but they can tell us who is in charge. Team Three- you will board the ship and find any evidence and proof of transporting cargo." Allen said talking to the officers of three different intelligence agencies.

"Chase I need to talk to you," Allen said dismissing the other agents. "My friend Fredrick searched Gabanna's house. We found a laptop hidden and I have the IT guys trying to break the codes and see what's on it. Gabanna closed out their accounts and had their money transferred to Switzerland. She is in Bermuda now and I have people searching for her. We think she may have helped get Zane killed. From what people said they were about to get a divorce. Not sure why, but we are working on it."

"Thanks Allen, keep me inform on anythng you find out." Allen nodded and headed out the door.

Chase looked at his watch. He was over by one full day. He wasn't quite as worried because he knew she was on that ship. Still not managing to get much sleep, he just couldn't wait to hold her in his arms. Getting his phone out, he looked at her picture. Rubbing his finger across the screen he smiled.

"Chase we are ready to head to the pier. Are you ready?"

Chase nodded to Charlie as the two walked out the police headquarters.

Chase looked out into the night. The stars twinkled in poetic fashion as he saw a ship coming into port. The night vision binoculars showed a huge cargo ship's steam bellowing in the air. "I see it," he said into the radio as everyone got into position. An hour later the ship rolled in and the anchor was dropped. A man who seemed to be the Captain met the dock workers.

"There are three trucks pulling up," he heard someone say on the radio. They watched as the the huge crane lifted huge crates off the bed of the ship.

"I want Michael, Ricardo and Luis to follow the third truck. Two helicopters should be arriving in minutes to follow the other trucks. You three will follow the first truck," Allen said into the radio.

Chase nerves were unsettled. "As soon as the trucks pull off I want that ship seized."

Chase continued to look. He saw Madeline and Emilio getting out a black SUV. Chase saw Madeline dressed in all black with black sun shades. Her blond hair was pulled back in a ponytail in a black beret. Emilio was also wearing black and he handed an envelope to a man. "Please tell me you are getting this on video?"

"Roger that," he heard someone say. The crane began to pick up the crates and loaded them in the trucks. 'Michael your team head out!" Allen shouted in the radio. Moments later a black SUV followed behind the first vehicle and then Team One and Two followed shortly after. Chase watched as the last crate was placed on a flatbed truck provided by Emilio. "Let's go, let's go!"

Team Three headed to the ship. Weapons were drawn and as Chase jumped in the car, he heard gun shots.

They followed the flatbed truck in almost darkness. The road they travelled was bumpy and a lot of potholes. Emilio and Madeline were in the front of the truck evidently showing them where to go. Poncho, one of the agents was driving. "They are going to Los Palmeros, it's about a thirty minute ride."
