Fighting and even more fighting

When I enetered the basement, the smell of smoke and alcohol hit my nose. Yoon and Zeno entered it right after me. People in the local stared at us. I didn't like it here. A bunch of old drunk men surrounded us. Luckily, I had my hood on.

"We'll play with you." A dark-haired man grabbed Yoon.

"Hey, you! I want to see your face." Another man stod in front of me and tried to grab my chin. I glared at him, my red eyes gleamed in the dark and then he backed away.

"Can you stop grabbing them with your unpleasant hands? They're with me." Jae-ha put his arm on the dark-haired man's shoulder. He tried to punch Jae-ha, but Kija caught his arm. A while later our whole group was standing there. Some of the men recognized our group. They knew, we were not people who you would like to mess with.

Our purpose on being in Capital Saika was to gather information, the other one was to hide. We kept our eyes on Saika troops.

Some time later, we learned that the Kai Empire decided to invade Kouka. It was hard to believe the shocking news, but it was clear that they crossed the border.

"The Sen Province's army has come even closer to Saika!" A man suddenly opened the door.

That would mean general Soo-jin lost or they split up. No matter you look at this, it's strange. I looked at Alice. She was thinking about something as if she tried to remember something.

"What's going on?" I asked her, but she only shook her head.

We decided to stay in a cheap inn. Because of that, we had to stay in one room. I slept between Zeno and Hak, but when I woke up, there was Jae-ha next to me. I rolled my eyes and let Hak step on him to wake him up. Cruel? Well, he deserved it.

Yona was uneasy about the events outside, so Jae-ha suggested to take a look. "Jae-ha. Wait a second." The girl said.

"You should take someone with you." I thought of Shin-ah, but he misunderstood me. Yona nodded.

"What's wrong? Want to come with me?" He turned to me and Yona.

"Yes, please take..." The princess couldn't end the sentence.

"Fine with me ~ " Jae-ha agreed.

How shocked he was when someone else than me or Yona was placed in his arms. I turned around and laughed together with Alice. He and Shin-ah left to investigate.

They came back faster than we expected. Soo-jin wasn't defeated. There was no battle taking place. It was getting more and more confusing. Li Hazara split his army of 10,000 men and sent 2000 men to attack Saika castle.

"We will go out and scatter the 2000 soldiers outside of Saika." Yona spoke with a serious voice.

"What are you saying, Yona?!" Yoon shouted.

"2000 men! It's dangerous!" Me and Yoon were the only voices of reason. The rest seemed to enjoy themselves. "Alice, Say something!"

"Well...we should go. It won't be that hard." She winked at me.

"I will protect you, Rei dear." Jae-ha smiled.

"I don't need protection. I'm a scary half demon. I'm strong."

Zeno got friends with people in the slums and they told him about a secret passage that leads outside. Everyone was preparing for the battle. Yoon was still hesitant, but that's normal.

The passage was dark and small. When we got out, everyone was covered in webs and spiders. I removed the spiders from Kija's coat, he was too afraid to even touch them.
