Confusions

The morning was a little chilly. Even Shin-ah was cold, despite his fur. Zeno bonked him with his head. It was a challenge to get warm. Soon Kija joined them. Who would've thought that a 20-year-old guy could have so much fun with that.

Me, Yona and Jae-ha were watching the scene with amusement until Yoon shouted at them. "Our goal has been reached. We've gathered the four dragons." He said. "Now...there's still one thing that's been on my mind. It's Ik-soo's prophecy."

Yoon recited the prophecy. The King was probably Yona. The dragons were assembled. There was still the part with the sword and shield. We only had theories, so Yoon offered going back to the Wind Tribe.

"You're just worried about that carefree priest, aren't you?" Hak teased him.

"No!" The pretty boy shouted at him, but I could see that he was eager to see his guardian. The priest was quite clumsy. I wonder if the hut is still standing.

We were in front of the hut. Yoon opened the door and gasped. Inside, everything was knocked over and destroyed. Ik-soo was lying on the floor. He had bruises on his whole body and his head was bleeding.

"Ik-soo!" Yoon panicked. Not only he, everyone was worried. "What happened?!"

"Huh? Yoon?" Ik-soo said with difficult. Yoon was by his side, ready to treat him. "I was so hungry...that I knocked everything over." He...was not attacked? We sweat dropped.

Some time later Ik-soo got treated by a very angry Yoon. However, the priest was really happy. "Whew. I narrowly escaped death!"

"Don't give me that you stupid priest!! How will you carry on with normal if you're on the verge of starving and you seriously hurt yourself from falling down?!" Whoa! I've never seen Yoon so angry. He was shouting for about 5 minutes.

"Wah ~ It's Yoon's angry voice. Thank you!" To think that someone likes when Yoon is scolding them.

We started cleaning up the mess. After that, Yoon asked Ik-soo about the prophecy. He said that the sword and shield need a little more time to appear. We had no choice but to wait.

Suddenly, Zeno spoke. "Why are you all avoiding the real issue at hand?" His voice was different. He wasn't smiling like usual. He was calm. "Miss...why did you want to gather the four dragons for?" Yona was confused. "You and that guy over there were kicked out of the castle, so it's understandable if you need the power to fight."

"It was to survive." She replied.

"Then what? Are you going to run away forever?" She denied it. "Are you thinking of overthrowing Soo-won who stole the tittle of the king...to take back Hiryuu Castle and the throne?" We were shocked. His straightforward way of speaking caught us off guard. The other thing that I noticed was Zeno mentioning Soo-won's name. Also, he knew about Yona and Hak being kicked out of the castle. Was it that obvious or was he that smart? One thing was certain. He was much smarter than we thought.

Yoon told him that we can't attack the castle with this many people. "If we four dragons use our power seriously...it won't be impossible for us to take down one castle." So they can get even stronger? I glanced at the four dragons. "But Zeno doesn't have that kind of power anyway." He was back to his cheerful self. I face palmed. Lately, I do it too often.

After that, Yoon decided to make food. Yona was thinking about Zeno's words. I wonder what will her decision be. I could see the struggle in her eyes.

[Next day]

Yona approached me while I was doing laundry. "Good morning, Rei. Can I help you?"

"Morning. Sure you can!" She knelled next to me. "What happened to your hand?"

"Oh, that?" She showed me the injury. "I wanted Shin-ah to teach me swordsmanship, but his sword doesn't have a guard...Can you teach me?" She looked at me hopefully.

"Erm...I could teach you but Hak is probably better than me." I laughed awkwardly.

"I asked him and he said that I should take care of myself." She pouted.

"Then...I can't teach you." She was surprised. "Hak was right. You should rest. Besides, you injured your hand and my sword is a bit heavy."

"Oh...okay." She was sad, but it couldn't be helped, right? I don't want her to get hurt more.

Soon, I was done with my work. On my way back, I met Jae-ha. He was laying on the grass.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"She took one of my blades..." To steal something from Jae-ha without him noticing it...She has some skills.

"So she asked you, too? Stubborn girl." I giggled.

"What was that?" He looked at me curiously.

"What was what?"

"You giggled." He smirked.

"Did not."

"Yes, you did." I sighed. This won't get me anywhere. "Hey! Where are you going?"

"Back" He stood up and grabbed my hand. Deja vu? I sent him a small glare.

"Why are you so cold?" He faked a cry. "I was hoping for a date."

"No. There's no way I'll go on a date with a Droopy Eyed pervert."

There was something in his eyes. Was he hurt? It only lasted for a moment, so I wasn't sure. "And there I thought you wouldn't call me that..."

"I thought it was a compliment for you. Hak calls you that, too. And I think I've heard Gi-gan calling you that."

"You are the only person that I don't want to call me that." He said quietly.

I stood there frozen. What did he say? Did I hear right? I blushed. No, no! Calm down! He didn't mean it that way. He flirts with every woman. I'm like the rest of them. I'm not special. But why do I feel so disappointed? Do I have feelings for him? That's bad...

"Rei! Help me with the dinner!" Yoon called me.

"O-okay!" Honestly, I felt relieved that Yoon appeared. I didn't know what to say to the Green Dragon. I need a distraction.

I left Jae-ha. Unknown to me, he had a sorrowful face.

"Why are you blushing? Do you have a fever?" Yoon asked.

"I hope not. I think I imagine things." I muttered the last part.
