Jihyo

Jihyo is the leader and the main vocalist of the group.

As a trainee, Ji Hyo worked hard for nearly 10 years, and made friends with groups such as 2PM and miss A; she talked to 2PM's Nichkhun for a while, and he encouraged her to work hard to have a debut, after which she found her strength.

Jihyo serves as the main vocalist as well as the leader of the group. She was also a part of Miss A's music video of "Only You".

JYP Entertainment spotted her on Junior Naver, when she auditioned for a child role.
Before her debut as the Twice member, Jihyo was known as the face of Innisfree's teen line "TN".

During the shooting of "SIXTEEN", Ji Hyo felt a bit depressed because of her constant work, and she gained a little weight; she was heavily criticized for this, but managed to lose weight and keep up with all the other members.

She did so well that she was appointed as the leader of TWICE, and is one of the favorite members among fans.

Some netizens kept saying that Ji Hyo may have some foreign blood in her because of her specific facial features, but she is purely Korean; her specific face makes her more interesting and likeable, for sure.
