-Enjoy! He's the "Levi" of Baseball. He dislikes people who don't keep things clean either. LOL. watisdis.-

Everyone on this planet has a weakness. Whether it be something minuscule or comprehensive, it exists within everybody. Especially with a game like Baseball, identifying these imperfections can be like various chinks in armor that can possibly bring the enemy down to his knees. Shirakawa Katsuyuki enjoyed picking out errors and liabilities. He couldn't care less about somebody's feelings, because all that he was noticing about everyone else was going to be useful to him when he needed it. Something as trivial as love would never influence him. The reason behind this narrow-minded opinion was because love was messy and almost always poorly executed. However, his beliefs were about to become debunked entirely.

It wasn't like you were anything special. At least to him, he didn't notice anything too outstanding about you. However, you still caught his eye for a fairly long moment. You had been crouching next to a small kitten on the side of the rode whilst petting it fondly. Your face was soft with affection, and Shirakawa found himself wishing that you would look at him like that. He quickly dismisses the embarrassing thoughts, as well as scolding himself for letting his guard down.

That's disgusting. Who knows what kind of diseases that animal has. She must be an idiot.

His criticism seemed more forced that usual today, as he would comment about something mentally most of the time. As he liked remaining quiet and refrain from attracting unnecessary attention. Just as he was about to pass by you, a man approaches you with a face that reflected ill intent.

"Do you like cats? I have a few at home, why don't you come over?" His voice was slurred and sloppy; he was distastefully drunk.

Shirakawa cannot help but falter in his steps as he hears those words with sickening meaning. He fights the urge to spin around and sock him straight in the face. Instead, he listens for the time being.

"N-no thank you. I have to get home soon. Thank you for the offer." You decline respectfully, but the man keeps persisting as he takes one step closer to you. As he extends his hand to grab your shoulder, a rougher hand grapples on to his and he is almost taken aback.

"Who the hell are you?!" You hear the sleazy man exclaim and you look up to see someone very familiar.

"She said she wasn't interested. Now scram." He snarls before tightening his grip on the man's shoulder.

"Tch." The stranger clicks his tongue before turning around to walk away; he gives you the most chilling smile as he turns and a shiver runs up your spine. Nevertheless, you open your mouth to thank the upperclassman.

"You are an idiot." He sighs before reaching down and offering a rare hand.

"Thank you. I-I'll be on my way now." You mutter before waving at the cat; who runs off at the gesture.

"Did you see the way he looked at you? He's going to come back for you when you're alone. Are you that dense? Stop wasting my time, I'll walk you home."
