"Why do you look like you're about to be sick?" Evra asked. "Because I think I am!" I replied. He reached down to touch my shoulder and I smacked his hand away. "Dont. Touch me." I said. He sighed and walked away to sit on the bed, "I don't get why you're freaking out. Do you not want me to date anyone? Liv, you know you'll always be my girl." He said. I scoffed and tried to figure out what was going on here. Why did Evra suddenly think that Rebecca was his girlfriend again? "Evra, did Rebecca come back after I left to meet Crepsley?" I asked. He nodded, "Yeah. She brought me some water and we hung out for a few minutes before you got back. Why?" He asked. "Just wondering." I said. I got up, went to Corma's room, and ranted for about an hour on how much I really didn't like Rebecca. "What do you mean she did something to Evra?" She asked. "When I went to Mr. Crepsley's room, she must have snuck back into me and Evra's! Because when I got back to Evra, I tried to give him a kiss and he freaked out and asked why I was trying to kiss him. He thinks Rebecca is his girlfriend again!" I yelled. She placed her hands on my shoulders and lead me to a chair to sit. "I'm not going to tell you to calm down, because I know you hate that. I'm just gonna say you should." Corma told me. I closed my eyes and took some deep breaths, which didn't help. So I stood and went to Rebecca's room, where she was sewing a hole in a shirt and looking very smug. "Hello Scar." She said with a sickly sweet smile. "What did you do to him?" I asked. "I don't know what you're talking about." She said. I sighed, way too tired for her games. "Rebecca. Please. I am tired, and sore, and I just want to go to bed. So please just tell me what you did." I said. "I didn't do anything. I just... Gave him a drink." She said. "Of?" I asked. "Just water." She said innocently. I sighed and left the room. I couldn't sleep with Evra, it would be too weird right now. So I went to Mr. Crepsley and asked if I could stay with him, "You do not have to ask, Scarlett. Come in." He said. I curled up in the spare coffin that he kept for occasions like this and he put a blanket over me. I waited until Mr. Crepsley was gone and everyone was asleep, then I got up and walked out into the cold hallway. I wasn't sleeping until I figured out what jealous, monkey tailed traitor had done to Evra! When I got to her room, I slowly opened the door and tiptoed my way inside. I looked through her purse and only found some sewing stuff and the keys to her trailer, which I took one of just in case. I knew it was wrong, but she's obviously done worse. So I didn't worry about going through the room, that is until she started waking up. I quickly jumped into a high cabinet and hid myself from her sight. She got a drink of water and I saw her pull a small bottle of something blue from her robe pocket and watched as she put it in a drawer below me and went back to bed. I waited for a few minutes before climbing down, grabbing the bottle out of the drawer, and leaving. As I walked back through the hallway I looked over the bottle. The liquid inside was a sapphire blue color, and it had a sickeningly sweet scent to it. I closed the lid and went to Evra's room, where he was fast asleep on the bed. I saw the water bottle that Rebecca had left and grabbed it, suddenly thankful that Evra never finished his water bottles. I was at the door when I looked back at him, then started to softly walk over to the bed. I leaned down and gave him a soft kiss before really exiting into the dimly lit hall again. I turned on the light in Mr. Crepsley's room and looked at what I had gathered, the key, the strange liquid, and Evra's water. All those nights of binge watching NCIS and Criminal Minds really paid off right now! I noticed that the key I had taken from Rebecca wasn't even her key. It was oddly shaped and I noticed the letter T inscribed on it. Was it Truska's? I noticed the clock said 1 a.m. and knew I only had a few hours until Crepsley returned, so I set the key aside and picked up the sapphire stuff. The scent alone was enough to kill a person's sense of smell, the color was harsh on the eyes, and the texture was really strange. Almost like I could barely feel it, like I'd never touched anything. I quickly wiped it off and then picked up Evra's water. I didn't know what to even look for on a bottle of water, but then I noticed this particular bottle of water had a funny color to it. A tint of blue. I opened the lid and was greeted with a sweet scent, not as strong as in the bottle but still there. I could've laughed at how easy that had been, but then knew that finding out where the key had come from and what it unlocked would be trickier. What in the world had Rebecca spiked Evra's drink with!? As I sat there I looked for a label on the bottle of sapphire and found on the bottom, what looked like a sticker had been pulled off. I hid the stuff in my jacket and folded the jacket under the cushion of the coffin so it wouldn't be found.
The next morning I went to Truska because she had experience with strange things like this. "Where did you find this?" She asked. "Rebecca had it. Along with this." I gave her the key and she unlocked the trunk that kept some stronger potions in it. She placed the sapphire stuff inside and locked it back, "Do you know if she has used it on anyone?" She asked. I showed her Evra's water bottle and she sighed, "Whose is this?" She asked. "Evra's. From Rebecca." I replied, getting the strong sense that this wasn't a good thing. "The sapphires as you called it, is a strong love potion." She said. "A... A love potion?" I asked. "Yes. You are lucky she mixed it with water instead of giving it to him from the bottle, or he'd be worse than he already is." She said. "Ok so how do we stop it? Can we?" I asked. She nodded, "Yes. But it will take a little time. Evra drank half of the water so he ingested a good bit of the potion, now I do have the reverse potion but it takes a very very specific mixing. One drop too many and you could remove any trace of love Evra has ever felt." She explained. "Do you know how to mix it?" I asked hopefully. She nodded, "I will need specific ingredients though. Things you can't find in regular, normal stores. If I make you a list do you think you could run to the little magic shop in town?" She asked. I nodded, "Yeah but will they have what you need? It's just a little trick shop." I said. She smiled as she wrote the list and handed it to me. "Ask for Crow. He will know what to give you." She said. I nodded and put the list in my pocket before leaving her room and going to find Crow.
