Chapter 19: Gone for good

Chaning's P.O.V

As we walk in the lookout. Charlotte's eyes grow wide. "Duck and cover!" She whisper shouts at us. We hide by some chairs and pillows. I crawl over to Charlotte. "What is it?" "Ciara must have beaten us here. Look." I look. Ciara stands in front of Ryder and the PAW Patrol, who are sitting tied up. "Why does she hate us so much!?" "I don't know but I'm stopping her. Chaning, come with me. Clara and Ryan, untie Ryder and the PAW Patrol. Macy and Tanner, you're reinforcements, if we need you, you come help us. For now, Tanner, you're coming with Chaning and I. Macy go with Clara and Ryan.  On my signal, you go. Follow my lead." Tanner and I quietly follow Charlotte around the back of the tower to attack Ciara. She signals us. Charlotte springs into action, jumping onto her back. Tanner comes around the front of her and gives her a blow across the face. My turn! I run and clamp down on her paw. Charlotte, still being on her back batters her head mercilessly. Ciara has finally had enough and falls down. Charlotte hops off her back and onto the floor. Ryder and the PAW Patrol are untied. The rest of us, besides Charlotte, go and sit with them. Ciara sits up wearily. Charlotte sits in front of her. "I thought we had a deal." "Well you thought wrong." "No, I didn't think wrong, because you shook my paw and said 'Deal.'" "Well, deals can be broken." "You're right, because instead of peace, we're taking you to jail." "Not if you can't catch me!" before she can even stand up, Charlotte's paw has shot out and slapped her in the face forcing her back into sitting position. "Goodness! How old are you!?" "I'm the one asking the questions here." Ciara stands reluctantly as Charlotte cuffs her. "Where'd she even get hand cuffs?!" Chase asks me. "I have no clue." Charlotte brings her to Ryder. "Chase, you guys stay here, I'll take her to the Foggy Bottom Jail." "What about Adventure Bay's?" "I don't know of a jail in Adventure Bay." "Oh. OK Ryder sir! We'll stay here." "OK, be right back!" Ryder leaves with her. After that we all just stare at Charlotte. She stares back. "What?" "You just brought down a grown dog and got her in cuffs!" She blushes a bit. "Instincts I guess." Skye walks up to her. "Are you OK!? Are you hurt?" "No, I'm fine." "Good." Skye moves on to Clara and Macy and before I know it, my mom is fussing over me and my brothers! "Mom, I'm fine!" "OK." She says defeated. "Thanks Mom." I say to make her feel helpful. She brightens and smiles at me. Chase is beaming at his daughters, especially Charlotte. She definitely got Chase's leader skills and braveness. Skye is fussing over her, but I can tell she's proud of her. Ryder returns. "OK, we should be OK now!" Then a worried look comes over Chase's face.

Chase's P.O.V

I had just realized that Ciara's family was still out there. And compared to them, Ciara was the good one. "Chase? What is it?" Ryder leans down. "Her family is still out in the woods!" I whisper shout with my eyes wide. "Looks like we've got a job to do!" Before Charlotte and "her team" can leave, Emerald and Skye walk over. "What was that now?" "Looks like we've got to stay here and be careful!" Charlotte says shakily. "That's what we thought." Skye says. "Chase, how many are left?" "Her brother Krypton, her mother Jaguar, her father Beast, her sister Mountain, and her other sister Storm." "So five?" "Yes sir Ryder sir." "Got it." "What're their names again?" Skye asks. "Beast, Jaguar, Krypton, Mountain, and Storm." Everyone is quiet. Especially Charlotte. "I GOT IT!" Charlotte jumps into the air. "What'd you got?" "I got a plan! That's what!" "What is it?" "OK, so Chaning, Tanner, and I will take on Mountain. Macy, Clara, and Ryan will take on Storm. Zuma, Mama, and Emerald take on Krypton. Rocky and Marshall take on Jaguar. And Chase, Marshall, and Everest take on Beast! Once we've defeated them, we take them  to jail with Ciara." "Charlotte-" "Mama, would you rather take the chance of us being hurt over and over, or would you prevent that from happening ever again by only getting hurt once. And we might not even get hurt! They might surrender knowing that we have the numbers! It's 14-5! What's the chance that they'll even take us on?!" She got Skye there. "OK, but if you get so much as a cut, you're going home." "No promises!" Charlotte says with a smirk. "One other thing though, Papa, where do they even live?" I never thought I would have to go back there.
