Thursday, 9:36 pm.

"And how have you been? Are you okay?" Sierra asks over FaceTime. I shrugged at her. I was doing my math homework and talking to her at the same time.

"I mean, the guy I like now has a girlfriend. I haven't really talked to him in about two days, so I'm doing amazing!" I stopped doing number 11 to look up at her and give her a sarcastic smile where I show my teeth.

"I could help you hide her body."I laughed as she wiggled her eyebrows.

"Oh god no. My conscience would haunt me forever. Not to mention we'll go to jail." she laughed and nodded.

"True." I finished number 11, and moved on to 12.

"What's 758 times 210?" I asked.

"Hold on." I heard tapping on her laptop, which I was guessing she was using the calculator on it.

"159,180." I nodded and wrote it down.

"I'm going to send you a surprise." she said suddenly. I looked up at her and furrowed my eyebrows.

"What kind of surprise?"

"If I told you what kind, it wouldn't be a surprise. Dummy." she shook her head and chuckled.

"I mean I guess. Preferably something I can eat." She laughed.

"I'll send you that too." I smiled.

"Thanks bro, but why?" I put my pencil in my mouth and started biting.

"Because you need a little cheering up. I hate seeing you all sad and depressed like." I laughed.

"I am not depressed." I said and looked down at my paper, but just stared at it. Is it really that bad that she noticed it?

"Cut the bullshit. You are sad. We've been friends for as long as I can remember, don't you think I would notice?" She raised her eyebrows. All humor gone from this conversation.

"Well, yeah." I mumbled. The pencil was all I looked at.

"When was the last time you had a small conversation with him?"

"The most was a 'hi' in the hallways yesterday but he was taken away by Lauren."

"Possessive bitch." I laughed.

"What?! It's true! She won't even let him breathe! Guys need space too." I agreed.

"When was the last time you talked for more than 5 minutes?" she asked as she was typing something on her laptop and pushed her glasses up higher on her nose.

"Uhh... Monday. When he was apologizing for ditching me." she nodded.

"Plus, he's going to Magcon tomorrow." I added.

"Where is he going?"

"Nashville. And he'll be there for three days, so lets see how that goes." I shrugged and finished number 12.

"Are you going to the airport tomorrow to say bye?"

"I doubt it, but I'll still call him."

"Why not do it now? Get it over with."

"Are you sure?" she shrugged.

"What's the worst that can happen?"

"Lauren can answer." I answered quickly.

"Who cares about that bitch. Call him." I rolled my eyes.

"Fineeee."

I got up and walked to my phone next to my bed and returned back to Si.
