August walked over to Jada and tried to kiss her. She held her hand out so he got a mouthful of hand. "That don't mean you're forgiven. It just means I know where I stand in your life."

August brought her hand to his mouth and kissed it. "That's ah start baybeh and it's betta than nothin. And Chris if yah don't get Jada draws outcha pocket we gone have ah serious problem."

Jada slowly took a step away from him. "I said I know where I stand in your life, i didn't say I liked it. You did me really wrong August and I don't know if I can get over it."

"Yah did me wrong too baybeh! Yah fucked up my car remember."

Jada raised an eyebrow. "You broke my heart so I brok your car. I still don't think we're even."

August nodded and bit his lip. "So that's it? We're just done?"

"Yeah I think we are."

August looked down at the floor. "Yeah that's prolly fah tha best. Tasia found out she pregnant and she want me to be around fah tha baybeh."

Jada paused. "What?"

The whole time Chris's head had been going back and forth between them like he was watching a tennis match. "Ooh this shit is getting good. Its like that R. Kelly Trapped in the Closet joint."

August shot him a look that said 'shut the fuck up.' "Yeah she pregnant."

"How long you knew she was pregnant?" Jada asked.

He rubbed the back of his neck. "Uhh bout ah month, maybe more."

"A month....," Jada mumbled to herself before she tried to swing on August.

"Yo Jada chill!" Chris jumped between them and started dragging Jada back towards the kitchen.

"Chris I thought yah was my bro. I mean these females come and go but bruthas posed to be foreva. But ya ass in hea mackin wif my gurl on tha low, jus waiting fah me tah fuck up so yahcan swoop in." August said to Chris's back.

"Aye chill cause you know its not eve lime that Yung. I wanted Jada way before you did and you know that. I told you a hunnid times not to fuck up with her cause I was gone swoop in. Ya ass thought I was playing." Chris was still holding Jada because she was still bucking trying to get at August and he was watching his own back trying to make sure August didn't sneak him.

"Nigguh ya ass prolly been scheming since day one."

Chris rolled his eyes. "Yeah that's why I'm stopping her from Mayweathering ya ass right now."

"Chris go get my other baseball bat out the closet." Jada glared at August.

"Chill Ma. Ya jail record gone be longer than mines in a minute."

Jada slowed down a little and smiled up at him. This boy could make a joke out of any situation.

August caught the little moment between them. "Ya know whet Chris? Yah can keep ha bruh. I'll be back for my shit Jada. Maybe I'll brang ya an invitation tah tha baybeh showa too." He walked over to the front door and walked out.
