I was sitting in the studio with Jamal on his lap. We were watching the footage of his performance of You're So Beautiful at the white party a few weeks ago. It just got to the part when he said "Make a man love a man" when he paused it and kissed me on my cheek. I pushed him back and stood up.

I popped my mouth. "Really Jamal? You'd rather tell the world that you're gay then tell them and your family about me?"
He sat back in the chair and put his hands together like he was thinking. "Babe its really easier for him to think I'm gay."

I smiled and playfully slapped at his chest while he kept kissing me. He finally stopped and sat back down in his chair, pulling me back in his lap.
