~SpongeBob's POV~
So the next day came. I work my shift at the Krusty Krab , then ran home to change into my beautiful clothing. I didn't hear much from Gary, I guess he figured that I was really focused on this date tonight. I hopped out of my smelly, greasy work clothes. I jumped right in to my sharpest, cleanest date clothes. I have the sharpest red tie and crisp white socks. But for the rest of my attire, I decided to switch it up a bit. I had a blue shirt instead of a white one, black jeans instead of brown shorts, and some regular tennis shoes. I'm trying to make it seem like I don't care to make me seem cool to her, but I don't think Sandy's into cool guys. Sandy seems like a very smart girl who knows what she wants. She seems like she will go for the educated type. Maybe I should just more professional. Wait, isn't she dating Patrick. Second of all aren't we just going to an arcade. Maybe I'm just overreacting about all of this. Maybe I should just come as myself and stop trying to impress. I'm fine with the clothes that I have on now. Nice and comfortable.
I guess I should call Sandy to see if she's ready. I walk towards the telephone and pick it up. I begin to dial in Patrick's house number.
*Ring Ring*
*Voicemail*
Patrick: "Hey, it's Patrick BITCHES. I'm not home. Ssooooooooo. DONT FUCKIN CALL LATER, AND DONT LEAVE A MESSAGE!"I decided to hang up because I know he wasn't going to check the message anyway. I decided to make my way to the arcade, Sandy will probably meet me there.
*10 Mins Later*
I walked to the arcade. As I was walking I started to drab and drag. The thought of this date was making me more nervous than I have ever been. It was 6:30 so I was very early. I decided to play a few games while I wait for Sandy to arrive. I played the pinball machine and the racket balls. Scored 173,282 points on the pinball machine. I even set a new high score. Well 6:45 rolled around, and I'm starting to get a little impatient. I didn't want to play any of the other games because I wanted to enjoy them with Sandy. So I just found a table for us to sit at when she arrives, and tried to occupy myself.
Suddenly, I felt jerk at my head. I thought it was Sandy trying to wake me up so I sat up as quickly as I could. I just found it it was me dozing off for the millionth time since I've been here. I looked at the time to see what time it is. I look up to see 8:37. Could I have been stood up? I don't believe Sandy would do that. She would at least let me know if she wasn't going to come. Should I be worried? No she's a strong independent woman, she can handle herself . She's fine. Nine o'clock rolls around. Okay, it's official, I've been stood up. I can't believe this. I should've known. She's madly in love with Patrick for some reason, and I guess I was getting in the way of that. This is why I don't date, because of the heartbreak. I opened up my heart for one girl and she just crushes it.
I leave the arcade and begin to walk home. Sad and alone, I begin to think about what would've happened if Sandy would've shown up. Laughter fun, good times. She missed out. But so did I. But it's okay I'm used to getting my heart broken.
