Long update is long x.x Only took me about five hours to write, though. The inspiration is strong with this one.... Annnnyway, I had this in my head almost immediately after Good Morning, and I just couldn't wait to update. And the update after this is coming soon, so... By the way, I absolutely adore reading comments on all parts of this story so tell me what you think! The picture below was what drove my inspiration for this update, and yes, Wade will be referring to Peter as "My Spider" for the rest of the story, so get used to it.

What should Peter's pet name for Wade be? Could really use your guys' help on that one, I'm stumped...

Enjoy!

Wade opened his eyes and looked around, blinking. There was sunlight coming from the balcony doors, cascading over the floor in front of the foot of the bed. His face had been shoved against the back of Peter's neck, who lay in a deep sleep, cuddled in Wade's embrace.

Wade looked down at the him, a warm feeling settling in his chest. Something was different. Wade felt...not cold. He tightened his hold on Peter and was struck by a sense of...right. Like he was made to hold Peter.

It was his second time waking up with Peter in his arms, and currently, he never wanted to wake up without his spider again.

[Our spider?]

{Peter blongs to us, now.}

[We never had a pet name for Death.]

{We didn't love Death.}

Wade didn't say anything to his voices, for fear of waking Peter up. Instead, he buried his face in the crook of Peter's neck, inhaling his scent. Peter had always smelled good. Like cocnut and chili powder, a delectable mix of sweet and spicey. He loved it.

Peter stirred, shifting in sleep, so that he was now facing Wade and burying his face in his neck. Wade smiled, tugging Peter closer with one hand as he reached up and played with his hair with the other.

All Wade had ever wanted in his life was to feel wanted. Loved. Cherished. He held Peter in his arms, and he felt the overwhelming need to always protect him, to destroy anything that would ever hurt him. As he lay there, Peter snuggled close to him, breathing in his scent, his voices calmed and the only thing was the embrace of his lover and the soft sounds of the city below.

This...this was paradise.

Peter couldn't sleep without him. Wade wasn't really sure why that was. Maybe Peter just wanted to feel safe and protected. Maybe he felt too lonely to settle down so his body could shut down. Wade didn't know, and he didn't really care.

The only thing he really had to worry about was collecting the pieces of Peter's heart that that white trash whore had shattered. He'd never even slept next to her? Wade hated this girl, for the excruciating pain she had caused his Spider.

Peter stirred, his long sudden breath change telling Wade he was awake.

"Good morning." Wade murmured, still stroking Peter's hair.

"Mornin'." Peter mumbled back, burying his face deeper into Wade's throat.

"Sleep good?"

"Yes."

Wade smiled. "Good."

"You're like a teddy bear."

Wade smirked. "Thank you."

Wade's phone went off and he slapped his hand over it, picking it up an pressing it to his ear. "This better be fucking good."

"Be nice." Peter mumbled.
