The Phoenix: Born Of Ash

My Name is Annelisa and I have been writing and telling stories for as long as I can remember. It has always been a dream of mine to share my stories with the world. 

Wattpad seems to be an excellent way to get my foot in the door and share one of my most treasured stories. "The Phoenix: Born Of Ash" has been kicking around in my head for four years. It has gone through many rewrites and I think I have finally found the version I want to tell. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

A little more about me:

I was born missing my left-hand bellow the wrist. Since I was born in Canada I was enrolled in the WarAmps program and have been helped immensely  by them. When I was growing up I found that there weren't a lot of amputees in mainstream roles and that bothered me a lot. 

That is why the main character in my book is an amputee. That doesn't stop her from doing anything, she just does it differently and that's that. This story isn't an "amputee" story but more a story where the main character happens to be an amputee :D

This book is my favorite I have ever written and I hope you really enjoy it too. It is a book with a lot of real serious content and will take you on an emotional roller-coaster but I think you will enjoy the ride. Enjoy!
