Small time writer always looking to improve my writing skills. Mom of two❤ I started writing in early 2019. I fumbled my way through my first "book" in the matter of a few months. I fell in love with my characters and myself again. I was only a few chapters in when I thought my world had crumbled. My partner and father of my beautiful daughters, decided we should end our 5 year marriage. To say I was devastated is an understatement. Mourning the loss of what you thought your life would be while becoming a single mom of two... for lack of better words, was a struggle. Still is if I'm honest. I had dark period. I couldn't write nor could I focus enough to even attempt it. I eventually started to heal from that trauma and life moved on. Since the loss of my former life, I have learned so much about myself. Mostly that I love to write and that writing creates this kind of relaxing escape from the everyday stress of life. My life is busy and sometimes chaotic so I'm not able to write as much as I would like. Updates are slow at the moment, but I promise I am trying.
