Born in a large California town, I grew up surrounded by culture. I picked up words and speech quickly as I grew and learned how to use language as my sword and shield. Before I ever truly understood how to write I would scribble down gibberish in notebooks my grandmother bought for me and ask her to 'publish' them so that I could be like the heros' who wrote my favorite books.

As I grew, my penchant for the spoken and written word grew with me. However my love didn't stop with just writing, but all forms of the Knowledge. I was among those oddballs who liked (and still enjoys) reading textbooks for fun. I soon filled up my family's home computer with documents upon documents of stories half-finished or short stories of myself and my friends. By the time I finished Grade School, I even had some of my stories put in the library for other students to read!

I got my first job when I was fourteen, when a friend's father asked for me to write him a short story for his wife. I was overjoyed at the request, and from then on I strove to make my words my living. When I graduated High School I had already won several school awards, written a dozen or more speeches, and wrote content pieces for various smaller websites.

By the age of twenty, I was approached to help a small publishing company (of about two people at that time). Sadly the company didn't make it, but I had learned so much during my time that I continued to study publishing and editing, and took these on as secondary (and soon primary) careers to my writing.

Beyond my writing, however, my life has been full of adventure and struggles. I happily married my best friend at the age of 21, and we're getting ready to celebrate our third anniversary. I have three fuzzy little children, my kitties Monster, Warlord, and Fuzz. I have lived in California, North Carolina, New Mexico, and Washington all within the last five years of my life. Overall, I hope my adventures continue!
