Heatwave is a firefighter and Quickshadow is a pediatric oncologist. Hot shot loves to run, jump, climb and play. However one day he starts to feel very sick and doesn't do those things much any more. His parents are worried and they take him right to Children's Medical Center Dallas ER. There they do an MRI and discover Hot shot has a brain tumor. They do tests on the brain tumor and discover Hot shot has Medulloblastoma a type of brain cancer. Hot shot is brave and ready to face his cancer head on. Hot shot makes friends with four other kids his age with the same type of cancer. They become the best of friends and fight their cancer together. Hot shot is determined to kick cancer's butt! (Humanized)

In this world, your blood type could be the death of you. Radiation has taken over the country and there is little to none survivors anymore. If the radiation didn't kill you off then you had Pikes to worry about. Type A's were the first to be killed off. Radiation exposed to them and quickly killing them in under 24 hours. Type B's got hallucinations and mental illnesses to worry about. Type AB's got it a pretty bad sometimes though. Sometimes they get off lucky. Other times, well they could have turn into Pikes. But type O we're extremely lucky because they weren't affected at all by the radiation and lived without any side effects. Now your gonna be sucked into the lives of these couple of individuals and experience how they deal with their blood types in this toxic wasteland.

Heatwave and Quickshadow are a happily married couple and they live in Fort Worth Texas. Heatwave is a firefighter and Quickshadow is a pediatric oncologist who works at Cook Children's hospital. They are happy with their life and soon they have a son. They name him Hot shot. They love Hot shot very much. Hot shot is growing into a very happy and active child. He loves to run, jump, climb and play. He is now five years old. Hot shot soon begins to feel unwell in May. Hot shot is wondering why he is feeling so bad. He has a headache that won't go away, he is vomiting, he is tired, and he is cranky. He is feeling so bad one night his parents rush him to the ER of Cook Children's hospital. There Hot shot is admitted for being sick and was in a lot of pain. A hospitalist who is caring for Hot shot is worried and decides a scan is needed. The next morning she sends Hot shot to get an MRI. Then Hot shot is discovered to have a brain tumor. The brain tumor gets a biopsy sample. Then Hot shot is diagnosed with Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor or ATRT a type of brain cancer. Hot shot is ready to be brave and fight his cancer. He makes friends with seven other kids in the hospital with the same type of cancer. They become the best of friends and decide to fight their cancer together. We all dream of a place filled with peace and everything we desire, a utopian world. While it might seem perfect, it's doomed to fail at one point or another, no matter what you do. That type of world used to exist here in America. Before the bombs, a fortunate minority of the population made it in the vaults that shield us from outside dangers. Unfortunately that utopian world ended on October 23 at 9:26 am 2077, Bombs colored the sky in an orange color with radiation and ash for weeks on end, the radiation still lasts to this day and probably for 100s of years to come. His parents take him to his pediatrician. His pediatrician sends them to Cook children's to get an MRI. The MRI reveals Hot shot has a brain tumor the size of a peach. The tumor is biopsied and Hot shot is diagnosed with Choroid Plexus Carcinoma a type of brain cancer. Hot shot is brave and ready to face his cancer head on. He makes friends with four other children his age with the same type of cancer. They decide to fight their cancer together and become the best of friends.
