That is the very question I seek to write out in this story. This story is a rewrite of Danganronpa. With new victims, new murderers and new twists.

This going to be my first attempt at a Fan Fic, as all the Naegiri ones I have read finished not to my liking. (Nothing against them all, but I wish they didn't end.) So this story will be told through the eyes of Naegi, until it says someone else's POV. He is attending a new school, Hope's Peak (No murder games, just normal high school life), with a childhood best friend that he lost contact with when he moved, and is trying to find her. No it's not Kyoko, but said person is going to be his bestfriend later on and I really wouldn't want to write this without them here. Basic story. Haru has had a history of blood disorders throughout his childhood, his grandmother was diagnosed with cancer. The swim club meets up to "study", when Haru feels inexplicably ill. They find out Haru has AML, but has been ignoring his symptoms long enough for the cancer to become fatal. Begining set during the summer between Haru and Makoto's 2nd and 3rd years, and continues from there. I haven't included Sousuke's shoulder because that's too many feels.
