In a half-hearted attempt to finish her latest article series before the month-end deadline, she convinces Chloe to join her on a wilderness road trip, showcasing all Montana has to offer. Deep down, she hopes rediscovering where she's from will clue her in to where future lies. Among the pebbles and pine cones, they cross paths with fellow adventurers - some more adept than others - a quirky artist filled commune and an anonymous poet who leaves scraps of his genius behind for others to find.
