Eleanor Grunsback is a 45 year old, lonely single, never been married, graying, and slightly plump woman who is asked to do a favor for a married friend. That favor changes Eleanor's life forever! Eleanor's married next door neighbor, Willow Meyers, a blonde haired, blue eyed, size ten, cheery 30 year old, has been having an affair with a Hispanic Professor from Mexico by the name of Juan Carlos Rodriguez, who desperately needs to immigrate to the United States because a powerful drug cartel wants him dead. Willow and Juan are in love and want to marry but two things stand in their way; Willow's husband, David, a rising pharmaceutical salesman, who doesn't want a divorce and that Juan's two-year Work Visa is about to expire. So, Willow concocts a plan - a green card marriage of convenience - that, hopefully, will keep Juan in the United States. An Eleanor is at the heart of that plan. But things quickly go awry when David finds out about his wife's affair and takes steps to have Juan Carlos deported. Chased by the leader of a powerful drug cartel will Juan Carlos survive a return to his homeland? What will happen when Eleanor faces the full wrath of both a vindictive husband and the United States government? Will her green card marriage of convenience turn into a horrible inconvenience? Eleanor Grunsback is the story of a not so beautiful woman who's given a chance for love in an unconventional way and is then faced with an unimaginable choice.

The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the ruling by a lower court that had ruled that DACA is illegal. Essentially, the basis of the ruling is that President Obama did not use the proper administrative process to institute DACA in the first place. Despite the ruling, current DACA holders will not be affected and they can continue to renew their DACA status. The ruling only really affects new DACA applications at this point. President Biden did issue new regulations that will go into effect at the end of this month. The purpose is to fix the "defects" that the lower court had found; i.e., the defects that rendered DACA "illegal" according to the court. The Federal government is expected to appeal the decision to the Supreme Court.

Is 'Trumpertension' the New National Health Problem? It's no secret that the majority of people who didn't vote for President Donald Trump are having trouble accepting his administration and moving on. In fact, many Americans are seeking medical help for the anxiety they are experiencing due to Trump Stress. Palm Springs-based internal medicine physician Kiran Dintyala (a.k.a. Dr. Calm) has already seen patients with Post-Election Stress Disorder, including some with previously well-controlled blood pressure who are coming in with alarmingly high numbers. He's even given the syndrome a name: "Trumpertension." He describes Trumpertension as "a substantial increase in blood pressure unrelated to diet, sodium intake or exercise that is solely attributable to worries over what a Trump presidency may mean for your future and America's." Convinced that a growing number of people are facing real physical symptoms from their inability to move on, Dr. Calm has written a short book to help them manage their stress before they develop more serious conditions such as heart attacks, strokes, autoimmune diseases and ruined relationships. In his book, 'Seven Keys to Surviving the Trump Presidency: Dr. Calm's Prescription for Healing Post-Election Stress' Dr. Kiran discusses... 1. How to find peace of mind despite the parade of craziness you encounter. 2. How to empty your mind of all negative thoughts and sleep better at night. 3. How to be happy no matter who your president is. 4. How to prevent political arguments with friends, relatives, and colleagues. 5. How to let go of the past, march forward, and build a bright future. Dr. Dintyala proposes that whether you are a Democrat, a Republican, or an independent, whether you voted for or against Trump, you can heal. You have the capacity to bounce back and reclaim your lost peace and joy in life. For anyone looking for a solution through the chaos and confusion of these stressful times, this book has the answer.

A young, under-confident Acadian woman is forced to fight for her family and homeland after they are inhumanly deported by the English. • • • Joséphine Duon has been dreaming about the perfect farm and family with her childhood sweetheart ever since she can remember. It's the way life is meant to go, according to most. As soon as things seem to be going to plan, the power of the Nova Scotian government switches hands, from the Acadians' French allies to the British... Without warning the British arrive at Grand-Pré with a proclamation: all their lands, tenements livestock of all kinds, and all other estates are fortified to the Crown. Acadian crops and homes are set aflame and families are torn apart; many men are imprisoned as rebels and women are forced to sail to American colonies. For Joséphine, money and respect are hard-earned within the colonies as she tries to return to her family. Governor of Nova Scotia, Lawrence is a real piece of work and is prepared to do anything to keep Acadians from returning. If she does not find a way to survive such hardships and help collect enough money for a passage home, the Acadians may never see their homeland or loved ones again.
