(Book 2 of Vanished) It's been four months since everyone over the age of fifteen vanished. As food becomes scarce, hunger sets in. People desperate to get even something that wasn't canned around there. Now the real danger has begun. One powerful snowstorm, unlike any storm you'd see in society. When touched by the snow, you get burned. If you inhale the wind, you will become ill with a deadly virus. To make matters worse, the electricity has completely gone out. With the stress of injuries and illnesses, death begins to take a huge toll on their population. It all seems to be the end of everything for them. However, there are unexpected dangers such as people or even actions that may change everything.

He enveloped me in his arms, his touch warm, as it always had been.
