A poem about the true meaning of Christmas

Onsra, from the Boro language in India, is the bittersweet feeling of having a love you know won't last. All too often in the pursuit of happiness and fulfillment in life, we must make decisions for ourselves that hurt those we love.

Aliens? Check. Death? Check. Throw in a bit of altruism and spice it with some romance, and you'll find the flavor to be a little more than ordinary. Originality is so hard to find these days, but hopefully I hit the mark, or at least around it. Feedback is a must - please enjoy!
