Author's Note: For this one, Raph and Casey are kids, and they already know each other. Sorry for so many AUs in a row, but they're much easier and much cuter to write! Enjoy this one-shot!

Casey woke up in the middle of the night to crying beside his bed. He looked down over the side of his bed, hearing Raph sob quietly. He turns on the small lamp on the nightstand beside his bed. He was sitting up and hugging his knees to his chest. "Raph?" Casey asks quietly. Raph looks up at him. Casey, worried, patted the bed next to him, gesturing for him to sit on the bed. He didn't hesitate to stumble to his feet, and jump onto the bed. Casey pulled him closer, placing him on his lap while he cried into his chest. Casey rubbed circles into his back. Raph wiped his tears away with the back of his hand. "Sorry," he said, "I have night terrors sometimes." Casey shook his head, "No. It's okay." Then Raph heard his small voice start singing. It was beautiful. Even more because he was the first one to ever hear Casey's voice that way.

"Come stop your crying, it will be alright," he sang. Raph recognized that song. Kala sang it to baby Tarzan in the Disney version of the "Tarzan" movie. "Just take my hand," he continued, "hold it tight." At that line, he grabbed Casey's hand and gently squeezed it, "I will protect you from all around you."

He had the most beautiful voice he's ever heard. Even better from when he heard Leo sing to Mikey some nights, "I will be here, don't you cry." Casey started to gently rock him. The slow motion and the soft singing really made Raph's night, especially being with Casey. He chose a good night to have a sleepover, he thought to himself, "For once so small, you seem so strong." He pulls Raph closer when he finishes that line, "My arms will hold you, keep you safe you safe and warm." That must have been why. "This bond between us can't be broken," Casey continues, smiling as Raph moves his arms from his neck to his waist, "I will be here, don't you cry." Casey took a deep enough breath to start the next verse.

"'Cause you'll be in my heart," he sang loud and proud, his voice filled with confidence. Raph was very impressed that he matched the pitch. Perfecting it, even, "Yes, you'll be in my heart." Even the notes! He was somehow perfecting this song, as if he's listened to this every minute of his life! "From this day on, now and forever more," he listened very closely to the song, and noticed Casey sang with much passion, as if he meant everything he's singing. "You'll be in my heart," he continues, "no matter what they say." He took another fair-enough breath, "You'll be in my heart...always." He pauses a second before continuing, "Why can't they understand the way we feel?" He shifts a little, "They just don't trust what they can't explain." He scoots back, Raph still in his lap, and leans against the wall, "I know we're different, but deep inside us, we're not that different at all."

"And you'll be in my heart," he sang again. He looked down, seeing Raph half asleep. He smiled, closed his eyes, and continued, "Yes, you'll be in my heart." He held Raph closer again, "From this day on, now and forever more." He inhaled fairly deeply once more, "Don't listen to them, 'cause what do they know?" He slouched a little, still holding Raph, whose arms were back around Casey's neck. "We need each other, to have, to hold," he continues, smiling down at Raph. He rested his chin on Raph's head, "They'll see in time, I know." He looked at Raph again. He was even less conscious, but a small, sleepy smile on his face. Casey continued, but he sang a little softer. Still, he put much passion into it. "When destiny calls you, you must be strong," he sings. "I may not be with you," he sings softly, "but you got to hold on." He breaths deeply again, "They'll see in time...I know." Casey looks down at the little red-head once more, slouching again, "We'll show them together, 'cause you'll be in my heart."

He pauses again, "Yes, you'll be in heart." He kisses the top of Raph's head quickly before continuing, "I'll there from this day on, now and forever more." Casey hoists Raph up so their hips lined up, "Yes, you'll be in my heart, no matter what they say." Once again, he inhales deeply, "You'll be in my heart." He was falling asleep him self, so he was relieved he was near the end, "I'll be with you always and always." He yawned before he continued, "Just look over your shoulder," and repeated that two more times. "I'll be there...always," he finished sleepily. He layed Raph next to him, turned off the lamp, and pulled the blankets over them. Since Raph's arms were still around his neck, he wrapped his around his waist. "Goodnight, Raph," he said sleepily, "I love you."

Author's Note: Hey people. I was thinking of this song, and I didn't even realize how this was so for these two until I found the lyrics. Sorry if I messed up a little in the lyrics, I'm not sure if something was repeated and I didn't make it repeat, or something like that. The two are not together in this, I just think they're a little too young. They're like 5 and 7, so 10 years earlier. But I hope you enjoyed!
