chapter 18

I was woken up by the sound of snoring. I sat up and look around, it was already morning. I remembered that I was the only one in the room before I fell asleep. When I look to my left, I saw Newt sleeping on the chair beside my bed. He's head was hanging and he was snoring loudly. I rolled my eyes. Didn't I told Adam to tell him I could sleep alone?

I looked at him. I could see dark circles under his eyes from lack of sleep. I felt guilty thinking of how I would always keep him up every night with my visions. I got out of bed  and shook him lightly.

''Newt?''I said shaking him slowly.

''Mm? Oh your awake.'' Newt said as he rubbed his eyes. He looked exhausted.

''Maybe you go get some more sleep. You look tired.''I said.

''Its ok. Im fine.'' Newt said as he stood up and yawned.

''No, go lie on the bed and sleep. I'll come back after breakfast to wake you up.''I said to him sternly.

''Yes mummy.'' Newt said as he lay down on the bed.

''Ouh shut up and go to sleep.''I said laughing as I walk out the room.

''Annah wait.'' Newt said. I turned around.

''Could you sing me s lalluby? ''Newt said pouting.

''What the hell Newt, I don't remember any-wait I think I remember one.''I said smirking. There was this song that keep playing while I have some visions.

I sat on the bed and begain singing the song.

"Are you, are you ,coming to the tree?
Where they strung up a man they say murdered three.
Strange things did happen here no stranger would it be
If we meet at midnight in the hanging tree.

I looked at him. He had a terrified look on his face.

''What kind of bloody song is that? ''Newt said.

''The only song that I remembered for now.''I said laughing as I leave the room.

''Im gonna have nightmares. ''Newt said as he close his eyes.

I laughed and close the doors behind me and went to the kitchen for breakfast.

''Where's Newt? ''Minho asked when I sat next to him with my plate of food.

''I told him to go to sleep. He looks like he haven't sleep in weeks.'' I said as I drank some water.

''So, what vision was it this time? ''Minho asked.

''Chuck.'' I said quietly.

''What about the time we had to run after you into the forest.'' Minho said.

''Wait, how did you know? ''I asked him. Teresa, Thomas and Chuck showed up at the table. Chuck was staring at me suspiciously.

''Why are you staring at me like that shank? ''I said to him laughing, trying to hide how uncomfortable I felt.

''Hmm ,I don't know. Maybe its the fact you seem to get scared everytime I'm around.'' Chuck said.

I looked down at my plate.I felt that everyone looking at me.

''Annah, I think you should tell them.'' Minho said putting his hand on my shoulder. I look up and sigh.

''Ok. Since you guys are my friends, you have the right to know.  Adam and I both have like this kind of ability to see the future. We don't know if their real or fake, but some of those visions had happen. Like the other day, I had a vision of Jeff chocking and he did.''I said to them, my plams were getting sweaty.

''So, how does that explain how wierd your acting around me? ''Chuck asked.

I sighed, I could feel a tear roll down my cheeks.

''I-I had a vision of you dieing.''I said quietly.

''What? ''Thomas yelled.

''How-how? ''Teresa stammered.

Chuck just stared at me stunned.

''I'm-I'm sorry Chuck. I don't know if its real or fake. I don't know-"

''Annah, its ok ,its not your fault. Who knows maybe its not real. Im gonna go.'' Chuck said calmly and left.

''I knew I shouldn't have told.''I said quietly.

''Its not your fault Annah. He wanted to know. He'll be alright. Like you said, we don't know if its real or not. Lighten up shank.'' Minho said patting my shoulder.

''Im gonna go find him.'' Thomas said getting up and left. Teresa gave me a sad smile and followed him.

''Well, Im gonna go wake Newt up. Wanna come? ''I said as I walk into the kitchen and got a sandwich for Newt.

''Nah, I gotta go get ready for the Maze. See you at dinner.'' He said. He got his packed lunch and left.

I walked to the Homestead still regretting telling Chuck about my dream.I went up the steps and into the room Newt was sleeping in. I opened the door and saw a sleeping Newt. He's stomach was on the mattress while his mouth was hanging open and he was snoring loudly.

I couldn't help but laugh at the way he was sleeping. I went up to him and sat on the bed. I keep bouncing on the bed hoping it would wake him up.

''Newt.Wake.Up.Its.Time.To.Get.Up!''I said to him as I bounced up and down the bed.

''Mm, go away. Let me sleep.'' Newt whined and covered his face with a pillow.

''No. Its. Time. To. Get. Up. If not I'm gonna leave you here, I got to get to work.''I stopped bouncing and folded my arms.

''Ok fine.'' Newt said and sat up. I gave him the sandwich.

''Ooo, breakfast in bed I see.'' Newt said smirking as he took a bite.

''Slim it shank. Hurry up, I gotta go work. Teresa's gonna kill me.''I said laughing.

Newt finish the last of the sandwich and we went out the room. A few of the Gladers gave us  wierd looks.

''What are you bloody looking at? ''Newt said glaring at them.

They turned away and continued what ever they were doing. I laughed as we went out of the Homestead. We parted ways since I had to go to the Map Room and Newt had to find Alby. As I walked to the Map Room, I couldn't help but sang the song that I sang to Newt a while ago.

I smiled and shook my head. The song was pretty creepy, but I find it comforting for some reason. I went into the Map Room and took sone maps. I sat in the chair and begain work, humming as I go along.

I know what your thinking ,"Holy cow she used The Hanging Tree song from Mockingjay Part 1!" Yeah I know, im a-MAZE-ing. In honor of Mockingjay part 1 which is like the best Hunger Games movie in the history of mankind, (in my opinion) I decided to use this song. I do not own it tho, Suzanne Collins does. Anyway, hope your enjoying the story so far!

BUT WAIT,  there are some books on this amazing website/app that I feel you guys MUST read.

1) Don't tell the Gladers(TMR Minewt fanfiction) by ChloeTheGlader. Its a really sweet story about Newt and Minho GO READ IT.

2) Thomas Sangster Imagines by iambloodyinspired. She makes amazing Thomas Sangster imagines. She made one for me and its beyound amazing, fabulous, all that.

And finally 3) Wonderwall by countrycake. If you haven't read it, I don't know what to say seriously. ITS THE DEFINITION OF PERFECTION AND NEWTNESS.
