So, I actually wrote some of this story on my Google Drive (my vault of maybe a million stories) and never released it because to be quite honest.... I forgot about it. But I did have a least one chapter done.

This would be more of an alternative story about Jada and Riley going to college. Here's the description: "Everyone's been through it. Well, everyone except Riley and I. College was the last step on our to-do list and we didn't know what we were gonna do. But it wasn't like college was gonna be easy. Since we got accepted to a college all the way in California, we were gonna not only be far from home, but we were taking the twins and Carter with us. And knowing me and Riley's luck, the college life was gonna hit us hard."

I'm going to verbally tell you now, it's going to be a bit different since I added new characters to my Boondocks stories here so Taiya would actually be going with them. Anyways, I'm going to give you guys a snippet and see what you think.

Chapter 1

Jada POV~

College. The last thing we needed to do. Everyone else was in their junior year while Riley, Taiya, and I would be in our freshman year.

Finishing out high school was tough. I had 4 babies already and Riley and Cindy had Carter, Taiya was currently pregnant with her and Riley's twins, and Huey and Jazmine had two with one on the way. If you ask me, a lot has happened these past few years.

"Riley!" I call, "Mails here!"

Riley dashes downstairs, kissing Jordan on his head as he comes up to me. In my hand held a pile of mail that hopefully would have the acceptance letter Riley and I have been waiting for.

"Did it come in?" Riley asks. I nod, holding up two college envelopes.

"You ready?" I asked. Riley nods, grabbing his letter from me. We look at my twin boys who were eating cherry tomatoes in their high chairs.

"What do you think boys?" I ask the almost 2 year olds.

"Open, open!" They cooed.

"On three?" Riley asks. I quickly shook my head,

"We gotta call Taiya," I remembered. Riley facepalms, remembering as well. He calls her, asking her if her letter came in yet.

"It did," she says over the phone, "I'm on my way over now. You didn't open them yet, did you?"

"Nah, we almost did though," Riley chuckles, "but we'll wait."

Taiya arrives at our house 10 minutes later with her letter in hand. I couldn't help but look at her growing belly.

"How you feeling?" I asked, hugging her.

"Really good. I've been listening to a lot of classical and soul music though. I never really listened before but the babies seem to love it."

I smiled.

"Aight, aight," Riley waves us both off. "That's enough! I'm tryna see if we made it in or not."

Taiya and I chuckle, getting ready to open our letters.

"On three.... One... two... THREE!"

A tearing sound was heard in the house and a short silence.

"I GOT IN!" We all screamed. We hugged each other, excited about our acceptance letters.

"Look!" I show my boys, "Mommy, Uncle Reezy, and Auntie Taiya are going to Cal U!"

"Cal U! Cal U!" The boys cheered, smacking their hands on their highchairs. I was more than excited about getting into California University (nicknamed Cal U). This was going to be a great opportunity for my writing and Riley's art.
