Rika's Family Background:

Father
Her father, Ryuga, is currently the 87th reigning sovereign of Yukigakure in the Land of Snow. Located among three mountains called the Three Wolves, Yukigakure is the latest village to be a part of the now called Six Great Shinobi Nations due to its succeeding and well-functioning economy, capital, and military power. Ryuga currently holds the title as Third Yukikage and is also the first Shinobi of regal lineage to be at office as Kage. He is a good friend of the Fourth Kazekage of the Hidden Sand, Rasa, who he first met during the Chūnin exams of his time.

Mother
Reika is the Regnant Consort and a Kunoichi of Yukigakure. As the granddaughter of the current Feudal Lord of the Country of Snow, her family always kept close ties with the monarchial descendants. Due to her grandfather's eminent position, she was forbidden to become a Shinobi despite her wishes, as the people around her anticipated for her to grow up nothing more than a fine and noblewoman to represent the honorable house of Akariha. Not wanting to accept the fate she did not have control of, her strong desire to become a Shinobi reached the heir apparent, Ryuga, at some point, who understood the aspiration very well before agreeing to give her a helping hand. With the help of Ryuga, Reika was able to practice Ninjutsu in secret for many years before she was officially made a Kunoichi of Yukigakure when Ryuga was able to change her family's view.

Brother
Rakuro is the older brother of Rika. He is an exceptional Shinobi with a calm and gentle personality and a brotherly persona - he  is very fond of his little sister. He would rather wear his Shinobi headband than a diadem, indicating that his aspiration as a Shinobi is similar to his mother. Having inherited the bloodline of the Akariha clan from his mother, he is able to manipulate raw elements, particularly more adept at glacial nature. From time to time, he passes down some important knowledge about the genetic inheritance to his younger sister and teacher her vital techniques, believing that one day, she too will be a great Kunoichi who can leave a wonderful impact. The bond between the two siblings is so intimate that Rika grew affectionate and amiable to the young prince.
