Luckily, the other members were discharged during my day off. They opted to be discharged privately, avoiding too much commotion, so I was happy to avoid a crowd. Taehyung picked me up in his car with Jungkook happily sitting in the backseat. All of us smiling broadly as he drove to see the other members.
Jin arrived in his own car and joined us when we arrived. He remained far away from me, standing next to Jungkook as he avoided eye contact awkwardly.
"Does he remember the other members?" I whispered to Taehyung so Jin wouldn't hear me.
"Yes he does." Taehyung glanced back at Jin with a sad yet hopeful expression. "I'm happy he remembered them, or this would have been awkward."
"Yeah, like how I feel ..." I said tugging on my shirt tightly.
"Noona, he will remember you soon." Taehyung said looking me squarely in the eye with hope in his voice.
"I know..." I paused as I felt my eyes start to water, "it's just hard seeing the man I love, want nothing to do with me."
"I know, I understand..." Taehyung replied sadly.
At that moment, we heard loud screaming fans and finally the other handsome members came out. Some fans still managed to find out about the private discharge, and showed up uninvited, fortunately the bodyguards were ready and kept them away.
Hoseok, Namjoon, Jimin and Yoongi all stepped out wearing their camouflage uniforms and their covers on their heads. All three had clean shaven identical black hair. Each had a relieved and happy smile as they ran out to us, all seven members gathered together for a group hug.
I stepped back and watch, allowing the guys to have their moment. Seeing them like this melted my heart. Their staff came out with cameras recording them, and I made sure to stay back to keep out of the camera view.
Jin looked so happy, the happiest I had seen him since the accident.
They were laughing like a bunch of kids, and enjoying each other's company. Taehyung turned to me, finally calling me over after the staff had stopped recording.
"Guys, this is our new friend and Jin's girlfriend, Cora Lee." Taehyung announced with a mischievous smile, pushing me towards the other members.
Wide eyed and my lip quivering, I cautiously stepped closer and shyly smiled, bowing politely to them. My body was rigid as my heart raced, feeling their gazes on me.
"It's an honor to meet you all!" I said quickly as I stared down at the ground. My mind raced. Was this moment of meeting all of the BTS members really happening?
"Group hug!" Taehyung encouraged, pulling me into their warm group hug. Initially shocked I ignored my fears and allowed myself to enjoy feeling every member's embrace. It was like hugging my best friends I hadn't seen in ages.
I recalled how much I cried when they had all enlisted and went on hiatus and being with them brought happy tears to my eyes. I made sure I mostly hugged Taehyung as he was the only one really comfortable holding me.
We separated after a moment, and the guys shyly smiled at me. Namjoon came forward first, and shook my hand. His cute dimples in person were even cuter and he was taller than I expected. He looked strikingly handsome with his new toned physique and chiseled jaw line.
"So this is the girl Jin wanted to marry." He said grinning sheepishly.
The other members and staff stared at me shocked, no one knew about the engagement. I even saw them stop the recording to ensure the members had their privacy.
