Backstory: Brooke was born to Carol Young and Richard Young in a small unknown town, She had a troubled childhood because she was verbally-abused by her alcoholic psycho-father. She would hide inside the greenhouse of her backyard when her father would come home drunk and fight with her mom. Because of this, Brooke associates greenhouses with a safe place. Richard Young eventually abandoned little Brooke and Carol, resulting in Brooke's mother working twice as hard to support her. From then on, Brooke was taught and trained to prepare for her education so that she wouldn't have to rely on a man when she grew older. The necessity that required an overwhelming amount of preparation became an obsession. Every class Brooke chose, every assignment Brooke completed since her first day of high school revolved around her getting into college. Her mother decided to send her to a boarding school to keep her away from any dangers from the real world and make her solely focus on her studies
