Y/F/N-Your friend's name

I wrapped the towel around my head as I stepped out of the shower, slipping on a pair of Tom's sweatpants and an oversized sweatshirt. I finished towel drying my hair and combing it out, hearing talking coming from the living room on the other side of the bathroom door.
"Yeah, I talked to them about it, they said it's a great idea. They think it'll get good press but I don't care about that. Yeah, but what if she doesn't even want to go with me? She's not a big public person. Yeah, I guess you're right. What do I even get? I don't know what she likes, it's not something you ask. Okay. Yeah, sounds like a plan. Okay. Thanks man. Bye." A beep sounded from the other side of the door as Tom hung up phone. I turned the handle and opened the door, confused as to who he was on the phone with.
"Who was that on the phone?"
"Just Harrison. He wants to go shopping with me for something to wear to the premier."
"Oh." I nodded my head and walked into the kitchen to grab an apple.
"Speaking of the premier, I wanted to ask you something." I turned around with my back pressed against the counter as Tom placed his hands on my hips.
"Mhmm?" I hummed a response as I took a bite out of the green apple.
"Why don't you come with me to the premier this time? Considering you weren't able to come as my date to the last one." A large smile made its way onto my face as I nodded, pulling Tom close to me in a hug.
"Of course. I'd love to."
"Well, I didn't know if you'd say no considering you're not big on the whole publicity thing-"
"Hey, if I get the chance to be at a big movie premier with you as my first time being seen in public as your girlfriend, I'm gonna take it." He placed a soft kiss against my lips, holding me by the hips.
"Yah know, I don't think I'll ever get tired of hearing you say 'as your girlfriend.'" I let out a giggle as he pulled me close again.
"Wait, I have no idea what I'm gonna wear! I'm gonna have to find a dress, and shoes, and my hair, and-"
"Hey, calm down. You still have time, it's two weeks away." I nodded as I caught my breath and Tom just laughed. His phone dinged and he picked it up off the counter, looking at what I assumed to be a text message.
"That's Haz. He's waiting for me outside." He typed a quick response as I threw away my apple core.
"Well then, have fun shopping for suits while I stress over finding something to wear." I gave him a soft peck on the lips and a small smile.
"It doesn't matter you wear, you look amazing in everything." I blushed and looked down, pushing a piece of my wet hair behind my ear. He kissed the top of my head before grabbing his jacket and keys.
"I'll be back soon, love. Have a good day, I love you!"
"I love you too!" I yelled at him as he left through the door. I rushed into my room quickly to text (Y/F/N), saying that we needed to go shopping for dresses ASAP. She responded with a quick 'busy today, but can tomorrow' and I left it at that. I started stressing out about looking nice, but decided to just watch some TV to calm down.

While you were busy stressing over trying to find a dress, Tom was stressing out about literally everything else. He was currently at a ring shop with Harrison, trying to pick out the perfect ring to put around your finger.
"What about this one?" Harrison pointed to a silver ring with a large diamond.
"No, she hates big diamonds. Says they look bright and tacky."
"Okay, what about this one?"
"She doesn't like gold bands on her rings."
"How about this one?"
"She hates garnet."
"Dude, you're being way too picky about this. She'll like whatever you put around her finger as long as it's you who puts it around her finger." Harrison leaned against the counter in frustration.
"No, this has to be perfect. I'm not going to settle for a ring she won't like, I need to find the perfect-" Tom's words were cut off as a small shimmering silver ring caught his eye. The band was wound in a braided pattern, caging several small sapphires into place. On the top of the ring was a small and simple circular diamond, framed by sapphires from all sides. Tom smiled. "This is it. It's perfect." Harrison came over to look at it, noticing the way Tom looked at it. He could see what Tom was thinking, just from the expressions on his face.
