Tachibana Makoto x Reader: Lost but Found

I can't wait till Wednesday for the new episode of Free! Oh wait....T~T Life is horrible.....

Your POV

"Onii-chan!"

Makoto and I turned around and we saw two kids running towards us.

"Ran! Ren! What are you doing here?" Makoto asked as his siblings tackled him with a hug.

"Haru-chan..."

"He brought us here!"

"They said they wanted to see you coaching," Haru said and he entered the club.

"Thanks, Haru. Ran, Ren, make sure you behave, okay?" Makoto told his siblings and I smiled.

"Gather 'round! So, I know it's pretty sudden, but today is actually my last day swimming with you guys," Makoto broke the news to the kids.

"What?!" The kids all yelled in unison.

"But why?"

"I wanted to swim the relay again!"

"Come visit us again, Coach Tachibana, Coach Yamazaki!"

"You guys have to!"

"You guys have to! You guys have to!"

"Promise, Coach Tachibana and Coach Yamazaki?" Hayato-kun asked.

"Yep! We promise to come back and see you," Makoto and I promised the kids.

"Yay!" The kids cheered.

"Okay, that's all for today. Thank you very much!" Makoto and I said as we bowed.

"Thank you very much!"

"I can't believe it's over."

The pool was now empty with everyone gone except Makoto and I.

"Same. I really did have a lot of fun," I said as I stacked the paddle boards up.

"I'm going to miss them." Makoto looked up and sighed.

"Well, we did promise we'll come back." I nudged Makoto and he smiled.

"Yeah."

"I'm gonna go grab us some drinks from the vending machines. Be right back," I said and Makoto nodded. I walked out of the pool and saw Haru. "Hey Haru!"

"Hey (y/n)."

Makoto POV

When (y/n) exited the pool, Haru came in and tossed me a towel.

"Thanks," I thanked him and caught the towel.

"Ran and Ren are waiting for you," He said and I nodded.

"Makoto! Oh hi, Haru," Kisumi called out and he walked in. "Is it true today is (y/n) and your last day?"

"Yeah, it is," I replied.

"Hayato was really sad. He said he wanted you guys keep teaching him how to swim," Kisumi said.

I scratched my cheeks. "Thanks. It makes (y/n) and I both happy to hear that."

"Well, you two really haven't really changed. Still into competitive swimming, right?" Kisumi asked me and Haru.

"Both Haru and I are. In fact, we're both competing at regionals this year," I said and Kisumi's face filled with amazement.

"Wow! Figures that you two would make it!" Kisumi beamed as he tried to put his arm on Haru's shoulder.

(A/N: But got rejected!!! Kisumi trying to cockblock MakoHaru but NOPE xD)

"Rin and Yamazaki-kun will be competing for Samezuka," I added.

"Wow! Wait, Sousuke too?"

I nodded.

"Oh, then Sousuke's shoulder must have healed, huh?" Kisumi said.

Haru and I both looked at him with confusion. "His shoulder...healed?"

"I ran into him at the hospital a while back. But if he's competing in tournaments, then it must have healed. I'm glad. Oh, I'd better go! Well, Makoto, Haru, see you later!" Kisumi waved goodbye and he sprinted out of the pool.

Then I heard a metal can dropped. Haru and I looked at each other, and then it hit me. Oh no!

Your POV

I ran out of the the swimming club ignoring the fact that Kisumi was trying to say goodbye to me. Sousuke's shoulder, healed?! Good thing I came back and eavesdropped at the right time on their conversation. How come onii-san never told me about this!?

I kept running till I reached Samezuka's dormitory where the boys slept. I rushed inside the building and into the lobby, where there was a massive group of boys hanging out. They all stared at me with a confused look, but they suddenly charged towards me when they realized who I was.

"OH MY GOSH ARE YOU HER!?"

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE ALONE!?"

"COME HANG WITH US, PRETTY BABE!"

I jumped up and down as the herd of boys surrounded me. Then I saw a familiar person with short gray hair.

"Nitori!" I yelled through the ruckus and he turned around.

"Yamazaki-san?" He quickly came forward as he pushed his way through the boys.

"Nitori, can you help me find onii-san's room," I begged and Nitori nodded without questions.

I got the group of boys to stop, when I announced I was Yamazaki's little sister. For some reason, they all stopped as if they were afraid Sousuke might do something horrible to them. Nitori and I walked through the hallways till we reached a room.

"Thanks, I owe you one," I told Nitori and he shook his head.

"Anything for Yamazaki-senpai's sister! Sousuke should be alone, since Rin-senpai is out doing his nightly jogs." Nitori bowed and left.

I looked at the door and slammed it opened. In the room I saw Sousuke by himself and he seemed to be doing his homework on the desk. Sousuke looked up from his work and stared at me.

"Hey sis! What are you doing here?" Sousuke asked and smiled. I walked towards him without saying a word and soon his smile faded. I walked till I reached him and I pulled down his right shoulder's sleeve.

T_T Now I am reminded of Sousuke's pain :'( By the way, like my new profile picture? It's so fken hawt, but it also reminds me that Free! has ended Dx Though, if I'm basing my calculations off K-On (one of KyoAni's works) Free! might get a movie, but it won't come out till like next year.
