Lance x reader - One last breath {Voltron and Percy Jackson Crossover}

You tucked your knees close to your chest as the wind howled through the cracked window. If the house wasn't about to fall down on top of you then you only had ten other problems to worry about. One of them being that you hadn't eaten in three days and that the only water around you was frozen.

You shivered as the wind began to howl its icy breath onto your skin. "This... Is the worst... Death... For a Hades kid..."

You prayed for something or someone to save you. A bit of fire. Some food. Or maybe even a friend to die with. Something to help you at least have a peaceful death.

"Hey... There's someone in here..."

Your ears perked. It was a human! No... That's not right. There's no one all the way out here. What kind of crazy people would go all the way out here near the end of winter when the storms are at its peak?

"Who is it?"

"How am I supposed to know?"

"It's a girl!"

"Oh, that's even worse!"

"Wait! She's not moving!"

Heavy footsteps pounded against the weak wooden floor as a group of teenagers like you flooded into the room. You peaked through your draping hair and saw four, maybe five people in the doorway.

A hand gently began to rest on your shoulder. You looked up and saw a thin male. Cuban or Spanish, you couldn't tell. You didn't care. You weren't alone. You could die with a smile.

"Lance, put your coat on her! I'll start a fire."

"Jeez Keith, she's freezing to death and you're still barking orders."

Lance pulled over a heavy coat over your shoulders and held you close as the boy Keith began to clear the snow for a fire. The warmth smeared against your shivering skin. It sort of burned, having such a warm coat come on you immediately. But the warmth slowly began to creep around you, gently wrapping you in a cheerful bubble.

"Tha-nk... you." You shivered.

Lance held you tighter, letting your head lean on his chest. "You're welcome."
