Antok x reader - Impossible partner part 2

"This may actually work" Shiro said. You smirked and stared at the plan. Hours of planning had finally rewarded you with something big.

Allura gave you one of the most important roles of the mission, medical retrieval. You weren't the best fighter of the team but you for someone who stood out such as you, you were one sneaky wolf. You were born with red and green eyes and since you were already in Christmas season, you dyed your hair blue and red. You weren't the prime colours, you were the additive prime colours.

"Everyone get some rest. We've all got our missions for our defeat of Zarkon" Shiro said. He blinked and turned around to see Hunk snoozing in his chair. He chuckled and watched everyone head out.

"You coming, Shiro?" Keith asked.

"I'm just going to talk with (y/n) for a bit, you guys go on ahead" Shiro answered. Keith nodded and followed everyone else out. Antok looked in your direction for a split second and filed out with his leader.

You found Antok extremely strange. You still liked him and all but he was still weird. You hadn't seen his face since he came, you wondered what species he could have been. You hadn't seen any Galra with a tail. You frowned and folded your arms.

"(y/n)," Shiro said. You hummed a response and turned to Shiro. "I know you... like Antok" Shiro said. You bit your lip and tried to flush out who could have told Shiro and when he could have found out. "You've also been given the role of being a part of the medical unit," Shiro said. You looked at him intently, already knowing what he was going to say. "Just choose who you're going to save first wisely," Shiro said. You nodded.

"Sure, I'll keep that in mind" You replied

"The Blade of Marmora are better than you think. When Keith went through one of their trails they were ruthless and they weren't even doing their best" Shiro whispered. "Just remember your priorities as a part of the medical unit," Shiro said.

"I know," You said.

Everyone was assigned a job the next day. You were given the one that you both hated and loved. You were going to stay the Blade's base in order to train. You were slightly offended when you heard Allura say that your skills were not as sharp as she wanted it to be but you were glad that you were going to spend some time with Antok.

"I know these are our allies but we hardly know them. Be careful" Allura said.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine" You smiled. Allura looked at you nervously and watched you walk off with Kolivan and Antok.

"What skills are you able at?" Kolivan asked.

"My covert skills are okay but it's my combat that needs practice" You answered.

"What do you struggle with?" Kolivan asked.

"I... I'm flexible and fast but I'm never able to take more than one hit. After a hit from Shiro or Keith, I'm usually a vulnerable target after that" You answered.

"Just one hit?" Antok scoffed.

"Shiro always goes for my torso and finds his way behind me. Keith always overpowers me and aims for my head or neck" You said.

"Your problem isn't that you aren't fast enough or able to take more than one hit," Kolivan said. "You always play on their terms and never notice it." You grimace tugged at your lips. "You have a choice right now to turn back and keep at your forgiving nature or to stay and get rid of your gentle side."

"What?" You asked.

"If you're going to fight, it means you understand that in that situation, it's you or them. The one things that you need to know about Galra is that if they want something, they will stop at nothing to obtain it. That could mean your head, eyes or tongue. No screams for help or pleas from the weak are going to change their mind. Do you understand?" Kolivan asked.
