5. How do you think the peacock miraculous got damaged?
Me:
Something happened with the kwami, maybe. If you look in the concept art, Duusu has angry red feathers and those feathers look the same in comparison to the miraculous when "charged".
When we saw Nathalie take it out, it looked like that, though previously in the safe, it was its normal green and blue. Maybe something happened to it during the fire. Maybe it was a magical one, like Fiendfyre in Harry Potter. Usually, charged miraculous will be charged when worn and the transformation sequence is spoken, but when Nathalie grabbed it, it was already charged. I think it's to do with the kwami.
I agree with alexbluewolf when she says that Emilie probably overused, weakening further. Perhaps there was a constant danger when she was its holder that was more dangerous than Hawkmoth, otherwise why would she keep using it over and over again?
