The Tale of the Unknown Prince (Revised version)

Long ago in a land of mythical creatures, where magic exists two kingdoms existed. The brutal kingdom of Ashton and the Feudal kingdom of Shinsaku existed and the young rulers of these kingdoms never were at an agreement.

One day however a princess from an unknown kingdom appeared seemingly out of nowhere. Wanting to make an ally the ruler of Ashton invited her to his kingdom. Entranced by her beauty the king fell in love although he already had a wife and 3 young children. But that did not stop him as him and the strange blond haired princess slept together but it was not what she wanted.

However the ruler of Shinsaku invited the princess to his kingdom and just as Ashton's ruler he was entranced by her beauty and they slept as well although Shinsaku's ruler had a wife and 2 young children. Again the mysterious princess did not want that.

Over time each ruler visited the princess in private until one day a child was born. This child however looked like his mother with light blond hair and deep blue eyes. Word was then spread as both kingdoms heard news of the birth causing a war to break out. The child was taken into the custody of the Ashton kingdom and was raised there.

While the boy grew up he believed he had no ties to the Ashton kingdom but he also felt he didn't have ties with the Shinsaku kingdom as well. His older siblings told him he was their blood and was different but he did not believe so. Some nights as he grew up the boy would have dreams of a dragon. However because of that he was never allowed to leave the kingdom though but the outside would attracted him like how burning candle light attracts moths to the flames.

One night when the boy was 18 he snuck out of the kingdom into the vast woods that separated Ashton and Shinsaku.

While he was there he ran into one of the four older children of the Ashton ruler as well as a child younger than him also one born of the ruler is Ashton. The older child recognized the white haired prince and told him about his mother and how the blond haired prince is of Ashton blood not Shinsaku . The boy did not know how to respond to this so he fled back to the Shinsaku castle and was caught by the guard led by one of the eldest Shinsaku siblings.

That night the boy asked the king of Shinsaku about his mother. The king told him that his mother left after his birth and false rumors were made from the Ashton kingdom but the boy knew that was a lie.

He left the castle multiple times, hiding his identity and asked the people of both the Shinsaku and Ashton kingdoms about the blond haired princess. He heard different stories at each kingdom but the stories were nearly the same.

Obsessed with learning the truth the boy once more snuck out of the Ashton kingdom and went to visit a mystic.

This mystic lived away from both kingdoms and was neutral in the matter.

When he arrived at her hut he asked her about the white haired princess.

The mystic told him the truth about how both rulers of Shinsaku and Ashton had forced themselves on his mother impregnating her but it was unknown who his real father was.

Distraught the boy asked the mystic is there was anything else about his mother she may know.

Nodding the mystic took out a conjoined blade. One half looked as if it was a blade from Shinsaku as well as an Ashton blade. The mystic explained to him that his mother had these blades were made for him to signify unity as they are able to combine into one blade or separate into two separate blades but her plans failed. The boy wars then informed that his mother gave the mystic the conjoined swords for him when he is old enough in hopes he will unify the two kingdoms. The mystic then gave the boy a unique set of armor and clothing.

After that the boy returned to Shinsaku and spoke to the king in private. The boy requested to the king to form peace with Shinsaku but the king refused and declared that what the boy heard from the mystic was a lie.

The king then demanded the boy to forget everything he heard from the mystic and destroy the blade his mother had forged.

Refusing to listen to the king the boy was locked away in his room. There the boy decided what he must do as a power began to build up inside him.

"I may not know of which family I belong to but I know this either Shinsaku blood or Ashton blood flow throughs my body but the blood that matters the most is of my mother and I am the one who will decide my destiny." the boy wrote on two pieces of parchment.

He left one note in his room while he took the other. He then donned the armor given to him by the mystic. The armor consisted of arm bands, shoulder pauldrons as well as boots as well as white and gold clothing and chain mail. The chain mail was under and over the clothing and the armor appeared to be a unification of Shinsaku armor and Ashton armor.

After sheathing the two swords his mother left him the boy escaped out of his room through his window.

As he crossed the ledge trying to escape the boy slipped and began to fall.

As he thought of what he wrote before he hit the ground a bright light surrounded him and a dragon landed on the ground where he would have landed.

The dragon was pearl white with a long body and two powerful wings on its back as it stood on four of its feet.

Shocked at the dragons sudden appearance the soldiers began to attack it but nothing worked. The dragon then took flight and flew off.

After hours of flying the dragon landed at the mystics hut as it suddenly turned back into the boy but he was unconscious.

He soon awoke in the mystics hit and asked her how he arrived there. She explained to him that he has a special power which allows him to take the form of different creatures that he inherited from his mother. She then explained to the boy that because neither the king of Ashton nor the king of Shinsaku knew of this the boy didn't get any practice of his powers as he grew.

The boy explained to the mystic that he is setting out on the journey to find the truth of his mother and find the kingdom she was from.

The mystic did not stop the boy and gave him supplies for his travel which consisted of food water and money incase he ever needed to restock on these supplies.

The mystic then delivered his message to the Shinsaku kingdom as the white haired prince headed off on a horse given to him by the mystic.

Now he travels in search for his mother's kingdom and learn who he really is and hopefully unite the Ashton and Shinsaku kingdoms before a war breaks out.

A/N: Hey Guys flame here again. This revised version was changed because it was accidentally to similar to Fire Emblem Fates. Some friends told me that so I did changes. The sword is now a combo of a katana and a Viking sword.
