Arshi FF: The Contract

Everyone settled down in the restaurant. N. K. was flirting with Lavanya, Khushi had no qualms and she was smiling looking at her friend's flirts. The only annoyed person here was Mr ASR.

Arnav got up in the context of making an urgent call. He gave a call to Khushi. She checked the caller Id and was confused but still picked up the call.

Hello! was all she could say as Arnav continued.

"Lav and N.K. don't know that I am calling? Do they ?" he questioned.

"No" She answered.

"Pretend like it is a business call, and come out I am waiting for you outside."

"Definitely Sir, I guess voice is not clear here, Network issues," she said.

"Guys I will be back in minutes," she said

"Sure sweety, I think I have a beautiful company here," N.K. said looking dreamingly at Lavanya.

She moves out and looks for him when suddenly she feels a pull from a side and she knew it was him.

He dragged her aside.

"What was so urgent that you had to call me outside?"

"We are not going to tell him anything,"

"What? But why?"

"Have you seen him, he is so casual about everything, I don't trust him at all, he can't even pronounce my name properly, What makes you think he is going to handle such serious situations?"

"Just cause he doesn't pronounce your name properly, doesn't mean he can't handle complex situations properly, this is such a stupid reason, Arnav. If you have some valid reason, then tell me,"  She answered him she knew he was annoyed by N.K.'s presence.

"He is a big flirt, and I have met him once he is a stupid, non-sense chatterbox" Arnav spoke.

Khushi's mouth flung open hearing the words Arnav was using for N.K..."Arnav... Like seriously just a single meet and you know how is he? Isn't it too quick to judge someone, I had been with him for years and I know him much better than you, Yes he stays casual and not so serious like you, but that is his personality, he is a little bit kiddish, but certainly he is a man of responsibility, he knows where to act maturely, right  now he doesn't even know why are we meeting here, he is acting friendly that's it!  He speaks more than required but he knows where to stay quiet as well, N.K. had been with me in my every situation, he never left he had actually always been a huge assistance to me, believe me, Arnav he is trustworthy and reliable." she told him.

Arnav somewhere didn't like that Khushi was praising N.K. so much and did he felt a pang in his heart cause N.K. had spent plenty of time with her and he didn't? Wait! What was he thinking? He needs to think rationally. Khushi is right he is being unreasonable, maybe cause he is somewhat jealous.

"Arnav, tell me what do you think, if you are not ready we can still wait and would tell him later when you are convinced or either you bring the right guy," she suggested.

"You are sure that he would be able to do this? Like you trust him completely? Right?" he asked.

She nods her head in approval.

"Fine then, let us reveal him the situation," he said.

"If you want time then..."

"You trust him Khushi and that's enough for me because I trust you," Arnav spoke sincerely, though he never knew why he told Khushi that he trusted her, he had never even told this to Aman, he doesn't know but with Khushi, he is so blatant about his feeling, emotions and words, he just never feels the need to hide them in front of her.
