Long time no see my precious readers <3

You woke up with two things in mind. One: you were in terrible, excruciating pain from perhaps the worst night sleep you had ever had. Two: because of the horrible pain and lack of sleep, you were pissed. You didn't even try to hide it-as soon as your eyes snapped open they were set in a fierce glare. Without you, and certainly without any Cybertronian, thinking about it, you had realized much too late that the Nemesis was completely and utterly unprepared for a human visitor of any kind. Knockout had helped the best he could and found a clean polishing rag for you to fold up and sleep in on top of the counter, but it was still the equivalent of sleeping on a blanket on top of a freezing cold metal floor with no pillow.

Yeah. Insanely pissed.

You rolled over to look for Megatron on his much larger "berth" but found he wasn't there. He must have already gotten up, and how you managed to sleep through a thirty-foot robot sneaking out of the room when you barely slept through the ruffle of the rag last night was beyond you. You narrowed your eyes even further. The lights had been dimmed as low as they could go, there seemed to be another rag down by your feet that must have been kicked off at some point, and when you checked your phone you were shocked to see it was almost eight in the morning: nearly an hour later than when you usually woke. It seems Megatron hadn't just snuck out to get going with his regular duties but had also taken the time to attend to your needs. Your stomach flipped a bit at the thought and you snuggled further into the rag.

So maybe you weren't so mad anymore.

Never being one for staying in bed much longer than needed, you stretched your arms high above your head, sighed in the brief contentment, and then threw the rag off and got to your feet. Shifting an edge with your foot you uncovered the device you had been given to open the doors and pressed it. Nothing happened. You pressed it again, rapidly, over and over until a growl of frustration slipped through your snarling lips.

"Oh for crying out loud...Megatron!" You yelled, "A little help please!"

You knew the chances of him hearing you were close to none. You had seen how separated his room was from the rest of, well, anything. Of course, stubborn as you were, it seemed that wouldn't be stopping you.

"Megatron! The lock on your door won't let me open it with this thing! Megatron!"

You walked up to it and started banging it with your fists. "Oh, come on!"

Beyond frustrated, already fed up with the day, and with nothing you could do, you began to scream-rant.

"This is not going to work, we need to update this thing so it will work on your door!"

"If this is where I'll be staying I need to be able to actually get out!"

"Plus this ship has absolutely nothing a human needs I can't live off of energon, and I certainly can't sleep on a rag like that every night! No one can---" You stopped as the door opened and your fist when straight through air.

You look up to see the gun-metal grey and red eyes of the leader staring down at you amusedly, the gleaming black and purple frame of the TIC behind him. "Megatron! Thank god. I didn't think anyone would be able to hear me."

"You can thank Soundwave for that." He said, nodding towards the silent mech.

You smile towards him in appreciation. "Thank you, Soundwave. Could you perhaps fix this up so I can get in and out of this room?"

Soundwave nodded, visor glinting in the low light, and gently took the remote from your outstretched hand. He nodded once more at both you and Megatron, then turned the corner and left, presumably to fix the device.
