You're the only other female shapeshifter besides Leah Clearwater. A best friend to Jacob Black, and apart of the pack, you were often filled in on what was happening with the Cullens and Bella Swan, even at times when you didn't want to know.
It was only natural that you hated the Cullens, not for who they were, but what they were. Your sole purpose was to kill their kind and protect humanity, after all.
But, during the training sessions the Cullen held to prepare for the army of newborn vampires that were coming to kill Bella, you found yourself growing closer to Emmett Cullen, ane somewhat fond of him.
You even saved his life on the battlefield, tearing a newborn's head off and preventing him from doing the same to your unlikely friend. Emmett shot you a small smile and, ignorning the butterflies fluttering inside you from the action, you sped off into the midst of the fight, trying to focus on the task at hand rather than your growing crush on the brawny vamp.
