It was night time. River High School gymnasium was decorated for the dance. Streamers, lights, and a giant photo portraits of Jason Blossom hovering over everything.

Archie, Betty, and Veronica arrived -- arm-in-arm, and the moment is very much like Cinderella arriving at the ball. Veronica takes it all in.

"Well, it's not the Met Ball," Veronica said.

Betty turns to Veronica, "Oh my god, you've been?" She asks.

"Twice," Veronica said, "Anna Wintour's daughter follows me on Instagram."

"Who's Anna Wintour?" Archie asks.

Veronica unlocks herself from Archie, "On that note, I'm getting some punch." She then leans over to Betty, "Don't let me down, girl."

Veronica goes to the punch bowl, which surprisingly Michelle and Liz were there talking with Ned and Flash. Archie and Betty moved further into the crowd.

"Anna Wintour is editor-in-chief of Vogue," Betty says to Archie, "There's no reason you know would know."

Archie's eyes locked on Ms Grundy, who was off to the side, chaperoning the dance. Archie wanted to go over to her -- say something.

"Uh- shit, Betty, will you give me one minute?" He asks, "And I promise, when I get back, I'l be a much better date. Two minutes, max."

Betty sighs and nods. He takes off making his way to Ms Grundy. Betty shakes her head, she could never be upset with Archie -- it was Archie after all. Kevin then arrives with a hot guy who kept eyeing him during the assembly.

"Betty, have you met Devin Davis?" Kevin asks, "His family just moved here from England."

"Hi," Devin said.

"Hey," Betty says and her eyes drift over to Veronica.

Veronica was talking to Peter and his friends. It seemed to be fine -- because Peter was smiling and even laughing slightly around Veronica.

"Uh- excuse me for a moment," Betty said.

She walked through some people to get over to the punch bowl. Veronica glanced seeing Betty come over and then frowns.

"Betty," Veronica says, "Did you chicken out with Archie?"

Peter glanced over at Betty -- of course she still had feelings for Archie. It was always Archie over him no matter what.

"He needed to take care of something," Betty said, "And I need to take care of something too."

Betty's eyes lock on Peter. Peter noticed this -- unsure what that meant, but then felt Betty grab his wrist and drag him off.

She dragged him to the wall and then let go of his wrist -- blushing slightly from that. Peter glanced from her to the dance.

"Enjoying the dance?" Peter asks.
