"Where the hell's Finn?" Puck asked as he stood out on the front lawn with the entire group, including Burt and Carol.

"Watch your language," Quinn said, motioning toward Burt and Carol with her head.

"I'll go check on him," Burt said as he started to walk back into the house.

"Puck!" Quinn hissed, elbowing him in the side.

"What?" Puck asked, annoyed.

"Put two and two together, will ya? Finn and Rachel are missing together in the house alone" Quinn let her sentence drop off, hoping that Puck would catch on to what she was saying.

"Yeah" Puck said, not really paying attention to what Quinn was saying at first. "OH!! OH, YEAH!!" he said, rushing after Burt. "Why don't you let me go find him, Mr. H. Finn said that he needed to go check on something in the garage, so it'll only take me a second."

"Oh, okay," Burt said with a shrug. "Thanks Puck."

"No problem," Puck said as he walked into the house. Finn was going to owe him big time for this. "HUDSON!!" he called out as he walked down the hallway. He could hear muffled sounds coming from the end of the hallway, and as he got closer, the bathroom door flew open to reveal a very flustered Finn.

Finn let out a sigh of relief when he saw that it was Puck and not his dad. He reached back and grabbed Rachel's hand before he walked out of the bathroom with her. "You scared the crap out of me!"

"You owe me big time," Puck said as he folded his arms across his chest. "Your dad was about to come in here looking for you, but I convinced him to let me go instead."

"You're a pal," Finn said with a smile as he patted Puck on the shoulder, then walked past him on his way outside, Rachel in tow.

"Uh, Finn?" Puck called out.

"Yeah," Finn said, turning around to face his friend.

Puck glanced down at Finn's shirt with a raised eyebrow, waiting for his friend to figure out what was wrong.

Finn followed Puck's gaze and looked down at his shirt, noticing for the first time that it was inside out and backwards. "Uh thanks," Finn mumbled as he fixed his shirt, his face bright red just like Rachel.

"Come on," Puck said with a smirk as he led the way outside.

When Finn and Rachel walked out of the house together, both Burt and Carol gave them a suspicious look.

This did not go unnoticed by Kurt, who cleared his throat in an attempt to get everyone's attention. "Alrighty then. Let's see if the lights work."

Finn nervously looked anywhere but at his parents, happily walking over to plug in the lights just to get away from their scrutinizing gaze. Rachel followed him, not wanting to feel his parents' stare any longer either.

"This is all your fault," Rachel whispered as Finn picked up the plug to the lights.

"I didn't hear you complaining a few minutes ago," Finn said, looking over his shoulder at his parents.

"Well that was a few minutes ago," Rachel said, trying to defend her argument.

"Oh please," Finn said with a half smile as he looked at Rachel. "You know just as well as I do that you'd do it all over again if given the chance."

Rachel gasped as she looked at Finn, trying to think of a good comeback to hit him with. She opened her mouth a few times to speak, but no words came out. "So," she finally said as she crossed her arms in front of her chest.
