I think this is the first thing I have ever written with Prompto ._.

You sat across the table from him on your phone. A text from a close friend in an emergency had
distracted you, and Prompto didn't mind.
You rolled your eyes, "Yuffie's definition of emergency is apparently running out of marshmallows. Give me a second."
"Sure thing." Prompto replied as you brought the phone up to your ear to call your ecstatic roommate. He crossed his arms with a smile. The two of you were dating. Sort of.
You had both been on date after date, there just wasn't a specific label on it. The lack of a label was probably his own fault. Prompto wasn't the committed type. It wasn't for lack of trying either. There was example after example of him tying to fully commit himself to a woman, but every time it seemed to fall apart. Then he met you, and suddenly that dream of commitment became a little more realistic.
Prompto's latest worry of course was you getting tired of him. You weren't the type of girl to stick around with a guy to afraid to admit he needed you. You were stronger than that. However, Prompto sure as hell wasn't the type of guy to get to his knees and beg for a woman to stay.
He kept his eyes on you and a slow smile slid onto his features. There was no doubt in his mind that you were special. You were different from the rest. You were the girl for him.
"I'll pick some up later." You finished your call, "Yeah, alright. Bye, Yuff."
Prompto leaned forward, "Handle the marshmallow emergency?"
"Barely." You replied and moved to pick up your menu.
Prompto reached across the table and stopped your hand. He cleared his throat, "[Name]. I just wanted to ask- well, no, I mean..." He paused to kick himself mentally. As much as he wanted to, he just didn't know how. So he settled for what he did know how to do. Prompto smirked, "I just wanted to say that if you want to stick around, and you know, never ever leave me...I'd be okay with that. It'd be fine by me."
You chuckled, "It'd be fine by you?"
"Yupp." Prompto replied.
You rolled your eyes with a smile and picked up your menu, "Well then, I guess that means you can pay for lunch today."
"Hey, hey, hey, I wouldn't stretch it that far."
