FIRST POST OF 2013!!!
So I really needed to post the Roxas result for NVA, but I didnt want it to be my first post of 2013 becasue techinically it wasnt written by me ^^" Which is why I'm posting this instead. It's a small little...er...drabble? I'm not sure what to call it actually. It was an idea I had for a Supernatural story, but I just never really gave it any time of day. Besides I feel like I wouldnt be a good Supernatural fanfic writer :/ Depressing right? Anyways for those of you Supernatural fans I hope you enjoy! This one is mainly about Gabriel becasue I freaking love him to freaking death.
Oh and if you havent watched Supernatural up to like season 5 this has a few spoliers. Just saying.

You sat in Bobby's garage on a metal stool casually kicking your legs. Dean's Impala was parked across from you on one of those metal stands. He was trying to fix something underneath the car. He had even taken the time to explain to you what exactly he was fixing, but in all honesty you had forgotten. Of course you wouldn’t bring that fact up considering he’d only scold you for your lack of knowledge in muscle cars.
Bobby, on the other hand, was inside with Sam looking for another case. You, Dean, and Sam had just gotten back from a vengeful spirit job in Michigan and already the three of you were looking for more work. A hunter’s job never was really over. A sigh escaped your throat as you played with the hem of your white baggy t-shirt. It was something you had just thrown on since Dean had roped you into helping him fix his car. There was no way you were going to get grease stains on one of your clothing articles. A piece of your [Hair Color] hair had slipped from its pony tail and fallen into your line of vision. You let out a breath of air in a feeble attempt to blow it away.
"You look bored."
Your head swiveled to the side as you lost balance and nearly fell off the stool. At last minute you caught yourself and stood up straightening your figure. A man stood at the entrance of the garage. He had light brown hair and caramel eyes. A smirk played on his lips as he walked towards you with his hands buried in his jacket pockets.
"Can I help you?" I asked after clearing your throat. He was probably looking for Bobby, hoping to get his car repaired.
"[Name] right?" The stranger asked and immediately your hunter instincts kicked in.
"Cristo." You murmured quietly. His eyes didn't turn black and he didn't flinch from pain.
"Yeah, not a demon thanks." He pulled his hands out and held one out to shake. You didn't move a muscle. He retracted his hand and shrugged, "Just trying to be friendly. I am a friend after all."
"Sure you are." You replied skeptically.
"Don't believe me? I know Dean and Sam. Castiel too. Helped them cage Lucifer again. Ringing any bells?"
All that had happened before you met them and joined their little hunting party. They had told you plenty about their apocalyptic adventures though.
"What's your name?"
"Gabriel." He replied. Immediately recognition hit you. The Winchester brothers had told you a story about him before. About how he trapped Sam in a time loop and killed Dean repeatedly.
"SA-" You began to yell, but Gabriel motioned toward you with his hand cutting your words off. You opened your mouth to say something but found yourself literally unable to form a single sound.
"Let's not call the moose in here hmm?" He smiled, "I just wanna have a quick chat with you! The hardy boys aren't invited."
You opened your mouth again in an attempt to speak, but ultimately failed.
"Promise not to scream?" He asked in a mocking tone. You silently sighed and nodded. Despite him killing Dean over a hundred times, you heard he wasn’t too dangerous. He had helped Sam and Dean throw the devil back into his cage after all. Gabriel snapped his fingers and you could feel your vocal cords loosen.
"How do you know my name?"
"Funny story." He sat on the stool you were on earlier. You hesitantly took a step back, "I'm supposed to be dead."
"I don't see how that's funny."
"Just wait." He held up a finger, "See I was brought back to life and told that I had one mission. Protect [Name]. I wasn't going to, but when I found out my own life depended on it I decided to find this [Name]."
You remained silent as he spoke. What did you need protection from exactly, and why did someone bring an archangel back to life to do it?
"Once I found out who you were I figured, hey protecting a 23 year old chick shouldn't be too hard." His cheerful smile fell, "Then I found out you travel with the Winchesters."
"So what?" You shrugged. You couldn’t count how many times Dean and Sam had saved your life. In fact this Gabriel guy should be thanking them for helping with this supposed protection job.
"So, that means you're pretty much destined to die." He replied curtly, "I lived for thousands of years, then I meet pretty boy and Sasquatch, literally a few months later I'm dead."
"That doesn't mean-"
"Ellen, Jo, and Ash. Living perfectly fine until the Winchesters showed up. They're dead."
"I-"
"Their half-brother meets them- dead. Their dad joins back up with them- dead. Then-"
"Ok I get it! So what?!" You snapped angrily.
"My point, beautiful", He hopped off the stool and sauntered towards you. He came to a stop right in front of you, "Is come with me."
"E-Excuse me?" You said. He expected you to ditch the only family you really had anymore to go with him?
"I'll take you where ever you want to live. Anywhere in the world! We stay away from the Winchester curse, we stay alive." He explained. You could see a flash of desperation in his eyes. It was one that you recognized easily because you saw it often in the eyes of people you had saved. Gabriel didn’t want to die again.
"I don't even know you." You shook your head.
"We could change that." His mood lightened as he winked at you.
"Wait. Back up." You closed your eyes to think. There were other things that needed to be covered before you ever even thought about agreeing to tour the world with an archangel, "Protect me? Why? I'm just a hunter, and not even a famous one like Dean or Sam."
"Don't sell yourself short. Your name is getting pretty well known these days because you're hanging out with Dumb and Dumber." He shrugged, "And as to why I have to protect you? I honestly don't have a clue."
"Hey [Name] I found the spare par-" Dean entered the garage but froze when he spotted Gabriel.
"Gabriel!? You're dead." Dean dropped the parts and pulled a gun from the back of his jean waistband.
"Nice to see you again too." Gabriel replied with a sarcastic smile. He turned back to face you, "Just think about [Name], and try to stay alive."
He snapped his fingers and disappeared leaving Dean and you alone in the garage. Dean rushed over toward you and set a hand on your shoulder. Dean’s curious yet caring expression was covered in smudges of car grease that he hadn’t wiped away yet. His hazel green eyes locked with yours.
"You alright?"
"Yeah I'm...I'm ok." You took a deep breath and nodded your head.
"What did he want?" Dean asked sliding his gun back where he had pulled it from, "What was he talking about?"
You paused, unsure of how to answer him, "I...I'm not really sure."
