The 20-year gap between the PC-98 games and the Windows games also explains why Alice looks so much younger in Mystic Square than in Perfect Cherry Blossom and later games. In Mystic Square, Alice was only 6 years old. Now, she's about 26. (However, since she became a youkai magician when she was 20, that's how old she looks.)
