Freezing point part 3

It's gone. Planet Namek is gone. Destroyed by the explosion of the core. My hopes for revenge - dashed. Frieza must've died in the explosion. My motivation for all my life: gone.

"I'm sorry Kori. I failed you." I said sadly. I know I'm not strong enough to beat his brother or father. I flew around the wreckage of what used to be Namek when I found something. It was a white blob floating alone in space. I flew closer to it and found something unbelievable. The white blob I saw was Frieza. He was heavily damaged, missing his lower torso and left arm. Not to mention a good chunk of his head. I could barely sense his energy. He's still alive. I extended my palm, a ball of ki forming. Look at him. So weak and helpless... no. This isn't the way I want to win. I disbanded the ki ball and lowered my arm. "This isn't over, Frieza. I'll find you again and I will kill you." I flew off to another planet to train some more. Landing on a planet far away, I scanned the area for strong energy signatures. Finding none, I decided to take a rest here to get some energy back.

(Eight hours later)

I woke up feeling well rested and reenergized. This planet may be deserted, but it's perfect for sleeping. Suddenly, a huge gust of wind swept over the planet. It nearly blew me away. When I saw the source of the wind, I was horrified at what I saw. It was a ship similar to Frieza's. The legs extended as the ship touched down. The only thing keeping my cloak from blowing away was a chain around my neck. A hatch opened on the top of the vessel and out flew three soldiers in strange armor. After exiting, they performed weird poses as I just sat and watched in confusion.

"Greetings! My name is Salza! This I'd Dore and this is Naize! We are Cooler's armored squadron! We have come to take over your planet!" The blue one said with a weird accent. I smiled.

"You're with Cooler, huh? Alright..." I said, beginning to transform. My head elongated as my shoulders flapped up into shoulder pads. Spikes grew out of my back. My head was so big, I had to hunch over from the weight of it. "All three of you, come at me at once. I'll take you all on!" I yelled. Salza growled.

"Fine! Your funeral! Men, attack!" He yelled as all three of them rushed at me. They flew side by side, ready to strike. With one Death Slash, they stopped moving as their heads rolled to the ground. Their bodies fell forward lifelessly. I looked up, seeing another figure float from the ship. I could tell who he was just by the silhouette: it was Cooler himself. He floated out of his ship, landing ten feet away from me.

"I see you've made quick work of my men. Well done. Unfortunately
for you, I don't tolerate traitors! Prepare to die!" He yelled. I chuckled.

"If you want to kill me, good luck. I will get revenge for the family you and your family slaughtered. You will not see the end of this day!" I yelled, powering up. My outer body began to crack and split, energy spewing from the cracks. It finally exploded, revealing my Final Form. I looked just like Cooler with different colors. Cooler smirked.

"A traitor and a copycat? I'll enjoy killing you!" He yelled, rushing at me. I blocked the punch he threw and countered with a swipe with my tail. He stumbled before he tried to tail swipe me. I grabbed his tail and spun on my heels. I released him as he flew towards his ship. I may actually have a chance here. He stopped before he hit his ship, vanishing from sight. I couldn't sense his energy. Suddenly, he reappeared behind me, knocking me down. I quickly recovered and socked him in the face while he kneed me in the stomach. I stepped back as he wiped the blood from his lip.

"I'm surprised. You can actually hold your own against me." I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, thanks. That means a lot coming from you." I said sarcastically. Cooler continued.

"Unlike my brother, you actually have some honor. He always wanted to prove he was the best, and he did have the edge for a while. Then it happened. I discovered a new transformation. Currently, I am in my fourth transformation but I have a fifth, stronger than Frieza ever was! You should feel honored. You'll be the first to see this form! First you see it, then you die!" He yelled, powering up. He began screaming as his upper torso grew in size. He grew spikes on his  wrists and head as his eyes became completely red. When he stopped, he looked terrifying. "Yes... time to die!" He yelled as flaps of skin covered his mouth. He rocketed forward, knocking me into a mountain. I smashed into the mountain, Cooler burying his fist into my stomach.

"Im'ma plant me a dumbass tree!" He said, flipping me over his shoulder, smashing me into the ground. Emerging from the dirt, I fired a blast at him, only for him to fly through my blast and punch me down to the ground. Once again, I smashed into a mountain, this time Cooler stomped me in deeper. I fell out of the me shaped hole in the mountain and onto the ground. Cooler stepped on my head and started pushing down. "You see, this is what I do to traitors. You should be happy. You'll see your garbage family again." Something inside me exploded when he said that. Something SNAPPED. He lifted his foot to finish me off, but I grabbed it. I slowly stood up, steam forming around my body.

"Don't you dare insult my family. It's because of your family that I'm here to begin with. I will make you PAY!" I screamed, transforming once again. I hadn't unlocked this form yet. I just needed that final push to transform. I stared down Cooler, anger flowing through my veins. He stepped back.

"I... can't help but feel like we're both missing some context here..." he started. I raced forward and kneed his stomach hard. " D'AUGH! MY GAS POCKET!" I seized the opportunity and grabbed Cooler, flying him into space. I saw a star in the distance. Perfect.

"You killed my wife... your brother killed my son... NOW I KILL YOU! DIE!" I screamed, releasing Cooler and firing a blast instantly afterwards. He flew towards the star and collided with it, burning up in the bright flames. After about a minute, I couldn't sense his energy. Cooler was dead. Good. I flew back to the planet I was on and made base camp. With the resources inside Cooler's ship, I could actually live here.

(Taro pov)

"...and that's what I did." Ice said, finishing his story. Wow. That was intense.

"Man, I didn't realize you actually killed Cooler! One question though: how did you get your golden form?" I asked. Ice chuckled.

"Same way Frieza did: I trained for months." He replied. Should have seen that coming. Suddenly, the sky turned dark as a purple Shenron appeared. Whatever is happening, it can't be good. Ice and I flew towards where it was, aiming to stop whatever this is.
