Chapter 55: The Golden Hopes

A powerful blast and explosion happened as Bahamut and Chaos clashed swords and trembled the crumbling world.

Their hands and swords were shaking as they gritted their teeth in struggle to overpower one another.

"Hang in there, geezer!", Arthur put his palms together and roared, giving Bahamut more physical powers with his golden mana.

"Hahahaha. You're now out of your prime, Lizard!", Chaos roared as he pushes Bahamut slightly in the clash. "You won't win against me!"

"Ngh. Grrrrr.", Bahamut hissed in pain as Chaos spits hot lava on his face.

"HOW DARE YOU DO THAT TO HIM!?", Arthur roared. Bahamut's black sword surged golden.

"What the?", Chaos roared in pain as Bahamut finally overpowered him and brutally impaled his body in half.

Chaos came flying away while laughing as his body regenerates and his swords resummoned.

"Hahaha. You're just a loser.", Chaos bursted with four balls of flames. "Beaten by nothing but a mere demigod!"

"He's not a MERE demigod.", Bahamut teleported behind Chaos which shocked him.

"That speed!? How could- AAAARGH!", Chaos were slashes to four with Bahamut's large draconic claws.

"TYRON IS MY SON!!!", Bahamut formed a chaotic ball of black flames on his mouth combined with red bolts and beamed Chaos mercilessly.

"No one mocks my family.", Arthur's voice trailed off. "NO ONE!!!"

Arthur puts his hands forwards and Bahamut opened his mouth wide, and together they formed a giant ball of black flames and red thunders.

Bahamut's stomach glowed orange which made the ball much larger and devastating that the world itself were being drawn to it.

"Not good.", Chaos puts his four arms forward and formed his miniature Sun-like ball of fire. He held it high and were ready to counter Bahamut's earth-shattering finishing move.

"More!", Arthur roared and gave all of his mana along with Tsuki and Shiro helping him.

"Even if your attacks overwhelms mine, I'LL JUST ABSORB IT AND KILL YOU!", Chaos guffawed and made the ball of fire three times larger.

"Just try and absorb my dark energy and it will kill you inside!", Bahamut roared as the dark-red ball of thunder-flame now reached its maximum.

Chaos tutted, "No matter. You still can't win against me!"

Arthur caught Chaos' body acting weird as multiple white patches glowed on his body.

"What's that!?", Arthur said as he's now about to launch his attack.

"Don't mind it for now, silly! We'll be toasted bread if Chaos' star of flames incinerates us! We won't be able to absorb it this time! It's too overwhelming! WE GOT TO WIN THIS! THIS IS EVERYTHING WE GOT!", Tsuki yelled.

"We can do this, Master!", Shiro yelled. "We're all together!"

Arthur closed his eyes and spoke to Bahamut.

"Geezer, you ready?"

Bahamut smiled and nodded, "I always am. Let's give it our best, Arthur. Let's go!"

"DIE! DIIIEEEEE ALL OF YOU AND SUFFER IN THE VOID!!!", Chaos launched his meteor-like ball of flames towards Bahamut and Arthur.

"YOU GO FIRST! HUUUAAAAAAAAAARRRRRGHHH!!!!!", Bahamut finally launched a very powerful beam that met the star. The moment they collided, the world itself were now in pieces and were floating in the atmosphere.
