"I can really take you both home," Taehyung said, shifting his gaze from me to Jungkook.

"I'm riding the bus," I said, before winking.

"If you're riding the bus, then I'll get in the car with Taehyung so we can spend some time with just us!" Jungkook shouted, wrapping his arm around Taehyung.

"No you're not," I muttered, staring at him.

"Oi, Jungkook," Taehyung said, slightly laughing whilst trying to push him away.

"We'll ride the bus," I stated, taking Jungkook's arm and pulling him away.

"You serious!?" Taehyung shouted and I waved him off whilst I walked away with Jungkook.

"Wow, you're choosing me over your best friend?" Jungkook said, and I looked at him.

"Do you know why," I replied and he pursed his lips whilst he squinted at me.

"You promised to stay by my side, right?" He said. "You can't leave me, Aera. You promised me,"

"Whatever," I replied, stopping when we reached the bus stop.

"That's a yes isn't it? You see, I understand your weird, crazy language now, Aera. We're the perfect match aren't we,"

I sighed and shifted my gaze back to him. "Jeon Jungkook," I said, turning my whole body whilst I faced him. He looked at me blankly. "Do you really like me? Or is this all an act?"

He gazed at me for awhile. "If this was really an act, then I would've left you after a week, right?"

I tilted my head, waiting for him to give me a straight answer.

"You think I'm lying?" He question, looking at me sternly. "Aera, I like you, a lot,"

I kept my straight gaze on him, hoping he was being sincere. "Alright, I'll believe you," I said, turning away.

I felt his hand on my shoulder when he turned me to face him. "What about you," He said.

"I don't know yet," I replied once the bus got here. Was he really serious about his feelings?

When we got home, me and Jungkook walked in silence when he suddenly put his phone in front of me with his camera on.

"Cheese!" he grinned and I slightly smiled when he took the phone away. "Wow, pretty,"

I slightly laughed at his remark and we made eye contact. "You seriously don't like me yet?" He asked, walking backwards in front of me.

"I said, I don't know,"

"When will you know?" He asked, arching a brow. "Hm?"

"I don't know," I replied, shrugging.

"Ah, you're breaking my heart," he sighed and I glared at him.

"Stop,"

"You stop," He said, halting. "You kill me with every gaze,"

"Aish, seriously," I slightly laughed at his cheesy words.

We reached my house and I walked inside after saying my goodbyes. I went inside my room only to find Mijin sitting on my bed reading a book.

"Mijin," I said, taking off my backpack.

"I have a question," she said, putting her book down.

"What is it?"

She sat up, her eyes kept on me. "What's your relationship with Jungkook?"

"What?" I said, forcing a laugh. I furrowed my brows, bewildered by her question. Why was she getting in my business? We weren't even that close.
